"I don't see how they could. None of the teachers are blind." Roxy told her bluntly. She didn't mean to be rude but how could anyone who wasn't blind understand how she was feeling? She would jus that to adapt. It was why she was here. She wanted to learn how to adapt to powers that she couldn't seem. All powers had a vibe feel to them. She just had to learn what vibe went with what power and how to combat each power with her own abilities.

After a few moments of indescribable pain Tyler breathed in a warm breath, "Kassy..." he looked up into her eyes and then wrapped both his arms around her tight in a big hug, "You are the greatest friend I ever had!" he looked into her eyes again, "Don't you see! You helped me figure it out! My powers! They are fueled by the bonds of friendship that I make! I...I'm alive..."

Kassy let out a little squeak as she was suddenly hugged. "Oh!" She hadn't had many friends in her life. Even when she had them, she always had the sneaking fear that she was the spare friend, the one that was only given attention when there was no one else to be around. She'd certainly never been the greatest friend for anyone. Still, there was a first time for everything, right?

"I- I'm glad! You... you look different." He was very warm now, different from the first hug. "...your eyes are different. You're saying I did that?"

"Completely cutting my father off might just kill him. Better to do it slowly" Connor said with amusement, enjoying Kijani's amusement, but it didn't seem to last. He waited until Kijani had finished, trying to figure out if he could help. "Maybe...Maybe we can work something out. Maybe Virtal Reality programs or something, to help in some way?" He asked,

"I think that might help. Desensitize me to the sensations and the memories through practice." She tugged at her dreadlocks. "It's going to be a long year. You're one of the only reasons I came back at all." There was a distance in her eyes, but she started to smile. "Never believed in fate before I met you."

Connor was thinking of how it could be done. There was certainly a lot of VR technology out there, and it could be adapted satisfactorily. He smiled at Kijani, touched at the statement. "I'm glad you came back. I think fate simply is. We can choose a lot of things, but when something's meant to be, it will just be. And that's when it feels like a ton of bricks has hit you" he mused thoughtfully.

The doctor just nodded and watched Nicholas go before heading off to class herself.

Harry had reached class, and had quickly moved to the back of the room, sitting down and getting out a notebook and pen, looking down, not wishing to meet anyone's eyes even with the glasses on

Nicholas sat down in his usual seat waiting for the doctor to come,"So how are you enjoying school so far?" Nicholas asked Harry leaning over whispering this to him.He wanted to know how his new friend was doing just as form the corner of his eye he could see Dr.Meidan coming into the room.

Tyler released her from the hug and then gave her a big smile which despite his being normal colored again was still just as bone chilling as before. His eyes were still glowing but now it was much brighter and filled with life, they had also filled in with specks of orange and made him look like a wild animal. "Yes Kassy...You sure did..." His smile never faded as he spoke and to anyone who didn't know any better he looked like a scarecrow with a disturbing smile, "The guy who lives in my head...The one I call H...He confirmed it just a moment ago...You helped me realize what I had been doing wrong...I can only hate everyone for so long before it destroys me..." He smiled a bit bigger, "Now...I doubt I'm ever gonna be the hero type...but I think my tyrannical hatred for humankind is done with..."

Harry took a moment to answer, before saying softly "it's been okay. But...I just don't know if ill survive here" he said truthfully, looking up as the teacher came in, who seemed to be preparing herself

"How so i think you are doing good so far...you have not done anything embarrassing for the time being.." Nicholas form the corner of his eye could see Dr.Meidan coming into the room getting ready to start the class."My advice for you would just be relax and if you need help i can help you" He said to Harry trying to clam him down while he relaxed in his own seat ready to learn.

How did one explain just how hard it was to know someone so intimately just from a look? How did he describe how painful it was, to experience a whole life time in seconds? Harry didn't think he could.. ""You don't understand, I can see people's lives when I look in their eyes. Feel what they have felt, see what they have seen, experiene what they have experienced. Can you imagine your own life, everything, and having to experiene it all in seconds? And it's always with me, every single life I have experiened. It's always there, the voices,the personalities, the memories. Sometimes I don't know reality from what's in my head, sometimes I don't know if something is my idea, or someone else's. I'm terrified of being near someone, of being forced to look in someone eyes, or to get close to someone. I'll either live through the next few years, or go crazy, or die" Harry curled his hands into fists, feeling ill just thinking on it, and looked down at his desk again.

Dr.Meidan looked across the class, clearly waiting for quite as she did so, studying the students, leaning against the desk at the front. @Eviledd1984

"I know everyone had to deal with something. I don't mean to make my problems seem bigger then everyone else's. I will ask around. But I don't think people who have different problems can solve mine. But it doesn't hurt to ask and all I can do is try their suggestions." Roxy told her. She didn't know the people Kalinda suggested she see but she would find them and ask them. It was possible they might have a suggestion that would help.

"Well their is not much i can do since that is your power i am guessing,But i would advice for the time being avoid eye contact perhaps wear some sun glasses.I am sure we can find your father perhaps he can help you control your powers unless he is not hear right now" He said thinking of how to help Harry while his attention was no on Dr.Meidan just yet.

"I was adopted" Harry said softly, "And my adopted father has done everything he can. I have special glasses" He said, tapping his glasses, and falling silent as Dr Meidan spoke.

"Welcome! I don't buy into first day introductions, as I feel that it waste time, I also tend to leave fear talks until a few weeks in, but students seem to be asking about it. So. Fear. Can anyway tell me a bit about fear?"@Eviledd1984

"People may not have the same expriences as you, but they can understand" She said softly, "I've figured that out, so chew over it for a while, and save yourself a few months of figuring it out" She said with mild amusement, knowing that people would come to their own acceptance when they were ready. @KatherinWinter

Nicholas looked sadly before turning his attention to Dr.Meidan,He then raised his hand wanting to be picked.He spoke anyway finally putting his hand down."Fear is an emotion induced by a threat perceived by living entities, which causes a change in brain and organ function and ultimately a change in behavior, such as running away, hiding or freezing from traumatic events. Fear may occur in response to a specific stimulus happening in the present, or to a future situation, which is perceived as risk to health or life, status, power, security, or, in the case of humans, wealth or anything held valuable" He said quoting the encyclopedia entry about fear.

Harry shrugged "my father is a good father and that's all that matters, isn't it?" He didn't know if Nicolas heard him though.

"That's a good clinical way of describing fear" the doctor said, with a smile, "the trouble with clinical is it makes everything cold. How can one describe the bone numbing, heart pounding fear that can come over you, or the sweat inducing, panicky feeling it can bring? You must experience it, after all" she said, "the human mind is so complex, we may never truly understand the e((ect fear has"

"Of course you have had that gift...others have not..." Nicholas said in a gloomy manner before turning his attention back to the doctor,"Once you know what fear is and experience first hand then you know how frightening it can be.." Nicholas said saying form his own experience of being experimented on my his father to test the fear gas.

The doctor nodded, "Yes, but there are different types of fear as well, and one can't know how they would react to different situations. Is a mothers fear for their child different to someones fear of jumping out of their comfort zone/ No one knows, fear is differet for everyone and really marvelous how that is so" She said, in an enjoyable tone.

"Well one thing for sure is that everyone fears something and i can expose this to my advantage..." Nicholas thought to himself listening in to what the doctor was saying.

Kyle leaned against the wall of the lunchroom. He figured that lunch was just about done. They had gym and an individual class. He wasn't sure what he would do at the end of the day. He could stay or go home. He hadn't decided. It mostly depended on if he had a reason to stay. So far he really didn't have any reason to stay after the classes ended.

As the class continued, the doctor began the somewhat complicated explanation of the body's physiology, psychology and emotional response to fear. It was detailed, if a bit brief, as the time continued to tick by, until the lesson was over.

"I have a quick question,Would the after effects of a strong effect of fear cause things like death or schizophrenia?" Nicholas asked the doctor wondering what the effects would be when he uses his improved fear gas on a person.
