The Master groans some "..Bristle neither would.. just because one is strong doesn't mean they can use the magic, and just because their smart doesn't mean they can handle the magic.. your bodies will be built inbetween... by the end you will be able to cast any kind of magic, and you'll be able to physically defend against nearly anything." he states, he looks to Alex annoyed and appears next to him hitting him on the head "who said you could stop running get back to it!" he states angry "and stop asking so many questions! there is a class portion later this is phyiscal ED currently" he states

Bristle would've nodded thoughtfully if he wasn't sweating heavily and breathing just as hard from the running he was doing. At least he wasn't wearing his cloak with all his stuff in it or he wouldn't have made it even half this far. He did like the thought of ending up as strong as the master said. Funny, he always had this mental picture of a wizard being a really frail super magical guy, but it seemed that was wrong. Bristle wondered how many other wizards there were in the world. But by the nine this was tiring and he had a sinking feeling they'd hardly begun. Rather than think anything else he simply stared ahead of him at the long long way he had left to go.

Mecca puffed out her cheeks in annoyance but keep running without complaining. "It's like a school...except you learn magic besides having to do all the bullcrap exercise stuff." She grumbled as kept her eyes focused forward.

“Ow!” Alex yelled before he added, “Will you stop hitting me! It’s not like I’m actually hurting anyone! God!” Alex shook his head and went back to running laps. Guess this guy hates questions. Good to know in the future Alex thought before he sighed.

“You know, you say there’s a class portion to this. Are you going to hit me there too when I do ask my questions? Seems pointless to have a class when you’re going to smack us for asking questions,” Alex said.

"Pretty sure you're getting hit because you're asking too many questions when it's not an appropriate time," Zephyr said to Alex. They were all running fairly close together now, "just wait until we're in class. Unless you enjoy getting hit and not getting answers, in which case please keep asking." Zephyr had lost count of how many laps he had done, which was not good. He was hoping the others were still counting, or at least the master would tell them when they could stop.

The master would look to bristle before looking at Mecca nodding "With how I'm teaching.. .there is 3 lessons a day. Physical ed, Magic Practice, and a class on magic" he states "The class is where you'll learn some history about magic, and some of the primary concepts of magic" he says, then he look to alex looking bit annoyed and before he speaks he looks to Zephyr who spoke "..well you mostly hit the nail on the head there, besides asking questions at wrong time alex, you also disobeyed me and stopped running when I said to no breaks" he states "Did you already forget the magical contract you signed" he says "You belong to me, you are to obey what I say, if you do not I can do what ever I wish to punish you, heck I can do what ever I wish to begin with" his eyes narrowing "O by the way Alex you'll be running double the laps for your attitude" he states "your lucky I haven't turned you into a toad by now"

Bristle winced, that was waaaay too many laps for anyone to do. Note to self: Always be as respectful as possible and obey orders to the letter. Of course he had plenty of experience with that he thought idly as he lost himself in the trance of running. He was eager to get to the next portion of class. A class on the history of magic and learning a bit about what the fu- freak, they were doing might be helpful. Bristle spent a moment wondering if the master would actually turn anyone into a toad but quickly concluded that A) he would B) he didn't want to test it. What lap was he on again? Somewhere around six, probably, yeah call it six. Well maybe five would be better, defiantly call it five.

Mecca's lips pulled up into a slight grin. She had lost track of her laps but she kept herself evenly paced to the point that she wasn't gasping for breath. "You know what I can deal with the laps. I'm just glad there's no math." Mecca breathed out, a large grin spreading across her face.

Alex sighed as he wanted to respond, but kept his mouth shut. I’m getting the feeling he really will do. However, why on earth would he even accept us if he really is annoyed by all of us? Alex thought. He had already finished the first set of laps and now was starting the extra set. He wasn’t going to let on that he didn’t mind the extra laps. In fact this reminded him of when he screwed up during his MMA training with his mother. She’d always make him do extra work and something like this made him remember her.

“If she taught me about MMA, then why didn’t she tell me about magic?” Alex questioned himself. He then shrugged and added, “Must have slipped her mind.” Even though his mother was a great MMA fighter, she was forgetful. He remembered his father telling him about the first time she tried to cook for him. She had forgotten the pot and it boiled over. This made Alex laugh at the thought of his mother going crazy wondering why the pot boiled over. Not realizing she had forgotten it.

Zephyr chuckled as he did his laps, the idea of Rex being turned into a toad over his incessant questions. He knew the importance of respecting what your teacher said. Zephyr was more glad that the Master wasn't going to punish all of them for the actions of just one person. Hearing Mecca make the comment about math he responded to her, "I mean, that's personal opinion. I really like math, I'm hoping we don't have to write any essays."

The master looked between them "..Zephyr and Mecca don't give me any ideals now" he says with a slight chuckle and a grin "also don't be getting to 'close' now, it'll interfere with training if anything happens" he states then looked to alex "Not everyone that knows magic is simply allowed to tell others and teach others" he states "there is only 10 people in the world who allowed to actually teach magic" he states "For it is not something an amateur should teach, someone who barely can use simple magic at that as well"

Soon 3 of the 4 apprentices would finished their running, While alex continued to finish his... having been giving even more having forgotten that the master could tell what they was thinking. The master would allow the 3 who finished to sit around and rest near the entrance. "Once he finishes we're heading back to a specially designed room to teach you some about magic, then we'll go to another to have you practice more." he tells them "You will only train and practice in Pocket dimensions i have created until i say otherwise" he tells them "for beginners I've made the first few days easier, if you couldn't tell this field was rejuvenating your bodies as you was in it" he tells them "I had you begin your training here because your bodies was still worn out from the ritual, and then the added running would be even harder, so i decided to be a little.... easier.. for now... don't except this treatment every day" he tells them

Since she had followed her father's orders until she had left home almost a year ago following the Master's orders was easy for Liz. When he said run she ran. Because she was a shy person she hadn't spoken to the others yet. It would probably be awhile before she did. She had never been allowed to mingle with kids her own age. Her father had only allowed her to be around his peers. She was fascinated by these teens. She couldn't wait to get to know them. She was curious about all of them. She listened to them talk and interact trying to learn everything she could. When she had finished the assigned laps she waited silently with the others for the boy to finish his extra laps.

After Zephyr finished his laps the master said they could sit and wait as Alex finished his, as well as explaining the first few days he'd be going easy on them. "Thank you, seonsaeng," Zephyr barely registered he used the korean word for teacher in that instance. He sat himself down with the others, Bristle, Mecca, and... "sorry, I don't think we've spoken yet, I'm Zephyr. You are?" He had barely noticed this girl earlier, though he knew the feeling, sometimes people didn't notice him in a group either.

Bristle gave a sigh of exhaustion and lay on his back breathing heavily. This tired and they were in some sort of easy mode? Goodness he really was weak. At least the hard part was over, now they just had to sit and listen. As he lay on the ground and Zephyr introduced himself it occurred to him that it was likely no one knew his name either. He stuck one hand into the air weakly and said, "Bristle reporting in." and let it fall back to the ground. He wondered how much sleep they would get. A weird thing to think about since they'd apparently been out for months or something but he was defiantly ready for a nap. Or at least a game of chance, but all his toys had been taken away so that was out. Maybe someone would play tic-tac-toe with him. Most people thought it was a random game but it was really just a bit of memorization before you could win nearly every time.

Liz blushed. She had done unnoticed all day. She was ok with that. Honestly she was more comfortable having no attention drawn to her. She was used to being invisible. Going unnoticed was safer. But she had known being in such a small group would make it impossible to go unnoticed for long. "It is nice to met you Zephyr. My name is Elizabeth but please call me Liz."She had never liked her full name and it was nice to have a choice.

Alex stopped and sighed as he finished his final lap. He stretched as his stomach growled. Damn it, I haven’t had anything to eat since I left to come here and according to the master we were out for a few months. Guess I’ll just suck it up and wait for him to say when we can eat. To be honest he’s treating us like dogs, or rather me like a dog since he seems to like to make me suffer. Alex thought.

“Oh well, guess all I can do is take it with a grain of salt. Besides, Amy was a more control freak then he is so I should be use to this,” Alex said to himself.

Mecca sat quieyly, against one the the canyon walls. Her chest lifted up and down as she let her body relax from the running. Long tendrils of her golden hair fell into her face. "Now's one of those points I wished I brought a hair tie...." She mumbled, almost to herself.

The master would look annoyed at Alex "did you forget I can read your thoughts and nothing you say goes unnoticed by me" he states bit angrily "I punish you for your disrespect and disobedience more than anything" he states "this time I'll let what I heard slide but if you keep this stuff up" he says with narrowed eyes then turns to the others "alright enough resting please follow me" he tells them as he walks through the doorway and down the hall expecting them to follow, he would lead them down a few different hallways before into what looks to be pretty much a class room. "take a seat" he says as he walks to the front.

Liz followed the master silently. The man reminded her father always demanding more. Nothing had ever been enough. All she could do was her bestif that wasn't enough she would accept the punishment and try again. She was no stranger to living up to standards that were impossible. She took a seat near the front not wanting to chance missing anything. She watched the others wondering who would soot where.

Alex sighed before he said, "I get it, you'll turn me into a toad or some other awful creature, but can you blame me. All I do is ask questions ." Alex followed the master and sat down. Alright let's get down to the good parts. Well the good parts We'll be able to learn. Highly doubt any question I'll ask will be met with a response. Its already established I'm hated. Better not make my fate any worse and yes I know you're reading my mind. So you don't have to worry about my stupid questions. I'll just keep my mouth shut. Alex thought.
