Bianca Beige had long antagonized him, if the fraction of the school year that had passed counted as a long time. But the troublesome part was that it was often completely without him propelling her. He couldn't tell if he was simply being weakly bullied or if she had a crush on him like some six year old schoolgirl. After roughly forty minutes, or something to that effect, the bell relieved him of her teasing. It felt like he was just a tree, petrified while he was pecked at by a relentless little bird. She said something snarky, crinkling her nose and cocking her head, like her face was a t-shirt chucked into the corner of a teenaged boy's room. Raphael hardly breathed as he, along with all his classmates, were funneled through the doorway and into the hall. He wasn't late, but that hardly meant he didn't have to hurry. The ARC simulations were distant from his place on one of the upper floors in the Quadrangle. So he weaved his way through his classmates, pushing his chest between theirs. As he passed Bianca, he tugged on her hair like it was a bell before hearing her squeal. "ammit, Linden," she growled. At that he was off. One particularly exhaustive jog later, he stood in front of the Augmented Reality Center, anxiously waiting to see who was there.
