While in this state Annwn can also utilize a more powerful form of slashing blink (5-7 hits being scored on each target instead of the usual 1-3) at will, with each first hit being scored counting as an automatic critical. He uses this skill sparingly due to the set up time and long 'cooldown'.) [*][i]Defensive Roll[/i] (Allows Annwn to dodge particularly powerful attacks by ways of a special evasion. Triggers automatically upon an incoming attack passing a certain threshold ) [*][i]Dancers Grace[/i] (Enhances Annwn's strength, stamina, and natural resistance. However its greatest asset is that it allows Annwn to up his agility and base speed pass the limit cap of 100 for a short time) [*][i]Night's Escape[/i] (a once a day skill, Annwn is able to instantly shadow blink to a safe location far away from a battle, usually far outside of the normal range for shadow blink or even some teleportation spells. This skill also overrides all holding spells beneath 5th level and a few above 6th, though any 10th level spells will still hold him no problem) [*][i]Shadow Blink[/i] (A shadowdancer base skill/spell. Shadow blink is an at will spell that covers the caster in a thick smog like smoke, which rapidly dissipates only to form where the Shadowdancer has blinked to) [*][i]Slashing Blink[/i] (the offensive variant of Shadow Blink, Slashing Blink allows Annwn to deal damage, equal to one to three hits, if his blink path intercepts any person or monster along the way. In essence a feeling that alerts him to when traps, both mechanical and magical, are nearby. In some cases it is also possible for it to trigger on a nearby ambush.) Hide Presence causes those around the caster to simply ignore them, their mind forgetting that they even saw them instantly, except out of the corner of their eye for some reason.) Their design is relatively plain, with only a few scratched on symbols adorning them. But despite their minimalist design, the pair hold true to their name sake (which translated means "the Ravenous"), as when one is cut with the blades the wound seems to be eaten away by an unseen force, stopping a few inches away from the wounded zone dealing death damage and giving the blades a stacking bonus to damage, penetration. If a target is killed with Geri and Freki, their body withers to a husk and grants the blades a massive bonus stack, equal to several normal stacks. As soon as the stacks grow beyond a fairly high number, Annwn can consume them to replenish health. [*][i]Cestus (Legendary):[/i] A pair of finger-less gloves with metal attached to the knuckles and fingers. Meant for hand to hand engagements, Cestus naturally protects the wearer's hands during the engagement. But it's true power lies in its reactive buff that amplifies it's attack damage based on the amount of defense and health the target has. Conversely if the target has low health and armor Cestus will deal less damage, due the scaling. [*][i]Song (Legacy):[/i] An enchanted Rope dart that is animated and is controlled by ones thoughts. As such Annwn usually uses Song as a third arm during combat, lashing out with it in blinding fast attacks, or for mid fight surprise attacks [center][b]Armor[/b][/center] [*][i][url=http://orig05.deviantart.net/f216/f/2011/026/6/f/barbarian__s_delux_armor_by_artisansdazure-d382pez.jpg]Dark Heart Armor (Legendary)[/url]:[/i] A light leather armor made from dragon and manticore hide. It provides above average defense for armor of its class, as well as natural resistances to fire based attacks. A special quality of the armor is that it shifts and changes with Annwn's own changing. This means that he still is able to use its bonuses even if he looks like a normal farmer and his armor has transformed into the farmer's tunic. Annwn uses this armor most often when engaging in fights, or infiltrating areas. [*][i][url=http://tera-online.cc/uploads/gallery/main/60/highelf_m_l21.jpg]The Armor of the Rat King (Divine)[/url]:[/i] Originally meant to be a mark of humiliation and shame by those of Annwn's first guild. The armor was originally a bottom tier, homemade mess of a hide armor, simply called "Rat's Armor". Even its text blurb was meant to insult, as it talked about how the armor was made "...from the skin of hundreds of rats, or a few Dopples. We cant ever tell the difference." Most would have disposed of it long ago, but for some reason Annwn held onto it, good thing he did too. Soon after joining Toasty's guild, Annwn approached the guild master with an odd request, to reforge and remake Rat's Armor into something respectable. Thankfully Toasty agreed and the process began, with Annwn sinking literal days of time and who knows how much money into gathering the items necessary to create what would become The Rat Kings Armor. At the end of it all the base bottom tier armor had been transformed by Toasty's hand and a number of magic items of various rarity that had been broken down for power and parts. It is now Annwn's favorite armor and he is often wearing it when not in the field. It provides decent resistances, and a bonus to agility, but its true power lies hidden within it. A power unlocked by a skill that was made using both endgame Doppelganger abilities in conjunction with the magic woven into the armor. The Omega Shift. Useing the Omega Shift, Annwn becomes something more. His form blurs and grows, turning into a huge spectral wraith rat simply known as the Avatar of the Plague. In this form he loses speed and agility, in exchange for an increase in damage output and phisical and magic resistance. In this rat form he also gains two abilities and a spell [*][Indent][i]Summon the Plague:[/i] Summons a huge amount of the spectral rats summoned by Calling the Hungry, and he is able to control them unlike the normal spell, he will also summon four very over-leveled Dire rats called the Honor Guard when threatened. Always active passive ability.[/indent] [*][Indent][i]The everlasting Plague:[/i] In his Avatar form, Annwn is able to absorb health and MP from damage dealt both by himself and that rats he summons. Always active passive ability.[/indent] [*][Indent][i]Greater Fear:[/i] An upgraded fear spell, his very presence instills a sense of dread and terror in those around him. If ones resistance is high enough they will not flee, but still feel the need to avert their eyes due to discomfort, those who fail will flee. [*][i]Health Potions of various strengths[/i] [*][i]The Mark of the rat (Unique Event Item):[/i][/list] More like a slightly living Tattoo than an item, The Rat Mark is inked into Annwn's back and provides him with information like a permanent/fixed eye from [i]Those of Secrets[/i] [b]Bio:[/b] [list] [*]Joining YGGDRASIL a few months after launch, the player who would come to be known as Annwn was immediately enthralled by the open ended world and those around him. He spent a good number of hours in his first week alone just going from town to town to just put them on his map, all the while with a big grin on his face. Of course this first week was also filled with a unusually high number of deaths, as various players who had rushed higher level gear would make a sport out of hunting heteromorphic characters due to "..them being just above monsters." But Annwn refused to let that discourage him, instead he adapted and learned that if he kept the guise of an elven player, the hunters would ignore him. As time went on Annwn leveled and played mostly alone, too shy to try and friend other people or even to accept friend requests, till the day he hit a roadblock. He had really done all he could alone to level up his chosen job skills alone, so in an odd moment for him he swallowed his fear and applied to a guild, the "Morrow hunters" or some other such name. Joining as their newest elf player (he hid the fact that he was a doppelganger, due to several factors) Annwn was furnished with better gear and set about his task alongside his new guild mates. And for a few months it was all well and good until the "Dance of the Rat king" event. A nutcracker themed event that occurred near Christmas, it was a relatively straightforward event of go in, do the thing, kill the big guy, get the special treasure. Only the catch was that the person who scored the killing blow on the Rat King would be granted a better treasure, and be soul bound to it. A fact that Annwn is blissfully unaware of, so one can guess the anger of the guild leaders (who had spent some time debating who would last hit) when some unknown player from their guild last hit the boss. And had used his skills as a doppelganger to do so. To put it short, Annwn left the guild lass than a month later, with both the Rat Mark and Rat Armor in tow. Once more on his own Annwn was pretty disillusioned about joining another guild, so for a time he didn't, in fact he took a good few month long break. But still he returned to the game. He was about ready to take anoth break when he decided in a rash action to join Toast's guild. What followed was some of the most fun that Annwn ever had, his skills in stealth and blinking abilities proving useful to the guild as both a spy and an enforcer. Eventually becoming one of the front-runners for both areas. For as long as he has been with the guild Annwn was a force of shy laughter and boundless optimism, undercut by his unusual enjoyment of his assassin type job. It was only natural for him to join the guild for one final night, little did he know what awaited him. Now caught in the New World, Annwn seems unfazed, almost blissfully happy.
