To be honest, I never really specified whether Amethyst's powers were of magical or metahuman origin. It can go either way since Jinx is homo magi and Flash is a metahuman. I guess its my fault since I didn't specify. The Jinx in the animated series is magical like in the comics, but the animated series Jinx's powers are completely different than the comics as its strictly hex magic. I prefer the Teen Titans version.
