Shiranui tossed his into the air and what emerged was an Electrike.  "[i]Electrike, the Lightning Pokémon.  Electrike runs faster than the human eye can follow. The friction from running is converted into electricity, which is then stored in this Pokémon's fur.[/i]"  The Electrike crept up on Shiranui while he listened to his Pokédex and zapped him with a small jolt of static electricity.
"You're a playful one, Electrike," commented Shiranui, recalling his new friend.
