Appearance: Name: Syn Kor Age: 27 Allegiance: Librarian History: Syn's personal history is for her to know. What others would know however, is her skills: A well practiced Tome user, and more importantly an Tome Scribe. She is capable of creating Tomes for others, and has spent much of her life researching new ways to use and improve tomes. Syn isn't just limited to tomes, and has skills in various crafts. Herbalism, Armoring, Engineering, while she isn't a master she is certainly a tinkerer. Currently, Syn is a professor at the Academy, her alliance with the Librarian a close secret. She serves mainly as a recruiter for the Librarian by convincing youths of the Librarian's ideals, though she also dabbles in spying and wet work. She also manufactures and produces equipment for those aligned with the Librarian, often through black market deals. Personality: Syn can be a boisterous woman to deal with. Some may even call her barbaric. Ultimately Syn does what she pleases, which can be anything from anonymous charity to wonton violence. To her friends she's a generous person but often intrusive and coddling. To her enemies she's annoying and a menace. Syn has a code of honor, but at the same time loose morals. Keep your wits about you when you're around her, because Syn might not. Tome: Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, "Demon Summoner" A dark green tome with black pages, the Daemonum is effectively a tome of summoning. Each page contains a demon with a unique ability, some as simple as being big and strong, others who are actually multiple demons, and some with their own magical powers. Syn has yet to discover all of these demons, though she suspects that there are at least 50 or more. These demons, while not invincible, or functionally immortal: Killing them simply banishes them back to the world where they came, and Syn can summon them again after they have healed their wounds. She currently can only summon one type of demon at a time (With certain exceptions), though she suspects that she could summon multiple demons as she grows stronger.
Imps: The first demons Syn gained access to, stronger than an average man with sharp claws, piercing teeth, and horns. But while they have strength, they are not particularly intelligent without Syn's guidance. They're little more than savage beast on their own, though Syn can command them to do more complicated things, even if they themselves do not understand what they do. Syn can summon a total of 10 imps at a time, or she could summon 5 and one of her more powerful demons. However she cannot summon anymore imps or a different demon until she banishes all of them. Bim: He appeared in the form of a Dragon with three heads, one like a Dog, one like a Gryphon, and one like a Man. Despite his monstrous appearance, she speaks with a high but attractive voice. Bim can call upon the spirits of the dead to him and use them as he wishes, either to raise undead or for a powerful attack. Eligos: Despite being a demon, Eligos looks like a fairly noble knight, armed in full plate and a lance. His lance has his flag hanging below the blade, but also wrapped around the shaft of the lance is a serpent that lashes out and grabs onto enemies who are pierced by the lance. Eligos is Syn's go-to demon for heavy combat and protection when her imps won't be enough. Eligos's strength and endurance is greater than what a mortal person could achieve without magic, though his armor and lack of a mount makes him somewhat slow. Has very sharp senses and can detect the presence of magic when it's being used.
Additionally, Syn can transform her Tome into a staff, which she often does for the sake of convenience. She can make the staff change it's size and length, from a giant pole to a small rod. Other: Aside from her duties as a teacher and secret job as an agent of the Librarian, Syn owns a workshop where she and her students may practice magic or craft items. Syn herself has commissioned work for the Imperium before and is in decent standing, though she isn't a major provider.
