A dorky and otherwise plain girl, Hana is nothing special. She grew up quite normally, although became a little less popular than expected. At school, the only place she could find those like her was the otaku club, a refuge from the harsh and critical world. There, she could safely create dojinshi that depicted her hentai and ecchi fantasies, something usually forbidden outside the walls of her safe zone. Her parents could never understand her desire to spend countless amounts of money on comics, and would have died to know about how much of a pervert she really is. Therefore, she kept her fantasies hidden, and focused on being a good student. 

Though one would think of her as relatively bookish, Hana is an extreme procrastinator. Overshadowed by a successful older sister, her parents expect the girl to follow on an equally bright path. Seeing as this was her last year, she attempted to make some sort of effort, but to no avail. Of course, she hid these failures, using her masterful art skills to switch thirties into eighties and so on. Drawing is the only ability that she possesses a talent for, and hopes to somehow become a full-time cartoonist. 

Hana wished for an anime life. Aware that this was her last year for a high school romance, she was constantly watchful for a boy to hand her Valentine to. Unfortunately, due to an impressively meek demeanor and humiliating pastimes, suitors were non-existent.
