Slow and steady a wagon rolled along the road to Tanjozo. A simple merchant at its front steered the chestnut mare along the path towards the prospect of business. In the back of the wagon, amongst the various wares, was an elven woman who lay fast sleep. As payment for providing a number of fine furs and hides, the merchant offered her free transport to the village. Her face was gentle yet she appeared weary from her travels. It was clear that she was exhausted for despite the shaking of the wagon along the uneven road she remained fast asleep. Once Tanjozo was in sight the merchant gave the elven girl a soft nudge to rouse her from her slumber. "Nila, wake up. We're almost there", the man whispered as he tried to get his traveling companion to look forward. "Ugh I'm up, I'm up", the elven woman said reluctantly as she sat up in the wagon. The merchant pointed ahead to the village as he added, "Won't be long now, you know you never did say why you wanted to come here". Nila remained silent for only a moment, hesitant to answer truthfully. She'd been traveling with Lambert, the merchant, for over a day now but they've worked together for about a week. Even so, Nila still wasn't sure she could trust the man. "Just looking for adventure is all. I'd like to see more of the world. Who knows, I might even stay here if I like it enough", Nila eyed the slowly approaching village with wondrous eyes. The possibility of starting anew here caused her to grow more and more in excitement. The wagon came to a halt by the village marketplace. Nila hopped out of the wagon, bow in hand and her bag on her back she walked over the side of the wagon where Lambert sat to say goodbye. "Well Nila, tis been a pleasure workin' with you. Honestly, I wish you'd stay and help out with the business. Never seen finer tanned leather before in my life", Lambert held out his and which Nila grasped firmly, shaking it with a smirk on her face. "Ma serannas(Thank you), Lambert. Best of luck to you and your business", with their farewells said, the two parted ways as Lambert rode off towards the next town over, leaving Nila standing in the middle of the street at the outskirts of the village market. "Damn, I should have asked where everything was in this town. Time to look around for an Inn I suppose", Nila scanned the market for someone who looked to be leaving. Everyone was either selling, buying, or conversing with another. Nila already felt somewhat out of place amongst all these people. For a long time she'd been living on her own and now to suddenly be at the center of a busy trade village, it was a little disorienting to say the least. Walking through the market was pointless, she didn't have a single guilder to her name and selling her bow was not an option. All she had in her bag was a sleeping bag and a change of clothes. Whatever food she got was from working for Lambert but now that source of sustenance was gone. "Maybe I should just look through the buildings. One of them has to be an Inn or tavern", Nila thought to herself as she eyed the various buildings in the village. Finally coming upon a decision, she headed towards one of them, completely unaware that it was the bathouse. Opening the door, the young elf stuck her head through to peek at the inside. Still unsure she entered the building to get a better look at the interior. "Yep. I'm terribly lost", she said to herself as she stood their confused as all hell as to what this establishment was for.
