Zora Irving
Zora watched the snotty girl disappear into the crowd. Her fists clenched in rage and face bright red at the insulting words. However, the tattooed female slowly inhaled then exhaled. She stretched her fingers outwards, forcing the tension out of her muscles. With a now focused mind Zora turned her gaze back to the broken flowers. Her glance was only brief for she decided to go to the shops around Citadel to look for something to do. The colorful stands around the city were covered in a multitude of small white lights. Every person standing around Zora seemed to be overflowing with happiness. But for some reason the nature child could not bring herself to feel the same way that they did. For some strange unforeseeable reason, she could not imagine in the slightest what could possibly make them happy in this situation. It was a strange sensation. As if everything around her was living in a delusion of their own design, but she had managed to break out. It was like viewing a 2D object in the 3D realm of perception. To her, the thought of being in a secluded part of nature, where no man had ever set foot, that was happiness. Zora woke up from her trance of thought when A rather tall male slammed against her shoulder while passing by her. All the while muttering profanity at the daydreaming child. Soon her thoughts came back to the present. Realizing that she had no friends to comfort her, no family to consult, Zora bit down on her lower lip. Trying desperately to relieve herself of the thoughts that filled her mind, she made her way to the nearest attraction. It happened to be selling beautiful silver jewelry. In awe, the brunette gently let her fingers brush over the intricately designed metal. The shopkeeper spoke up asking what she was looking for, but there was nothing she was looking for particularly. When she looked at all of the pieces separately, Zora spotted a simple design of a dragon. “May I have this one?” She asked, beaming at the old, grey man. After a quick exchange, the silver pendant sat in the pocket of her jeans. Now, Zora's footsteps were deliberate as they carried her towards the Academy.
