Name: Yosuke Hanamura Age: 17 Species: Human (Persona User) Gender: Male Personality: Yosuke Hanamura is a lot different than he actually seems at first. Often, he isn't very agreeable in the mornings, and he doesn't usually think about what he says before he says it sometimes. However, he definitely always apologizes if he's hurt anyone's feelings or offended anyone. He's also quite clumsy, not only with his words but also with his movements, although this seems to majorly cease once he's in combat. He's also quite insightful, and has great deduction skills and is capable of figuring out solutions from different clues. He's good at putting mental puzzles together, even though he's clumsy with his wording. Alongside being insightful, he's also good with handling emotions and is also a very good salesman. He knows how to talk to people and gain their attention in positive ways. He's also good with comforting people, as well as realizing that he may have hurt someone's feelings with a verbal blunder. He's also a very attentive friend, who treasures his friends deeply. Admittedly, he has a fear of being abandoned by his friends, due to how his friends in the city stopped interacting with him. Yosuke's loneliness once he arrived in Inaba caused him to gain a self-destructive attitude. He would allow himself to be the butt of jokes and jibes, and he trusted people less. He grew to dislike Inaba before the events of Persona 4. His insecurities came once he moved to Inaba, thus he grew to dislike the town. After his old city friends mostly stopped texting with him, Yosuke became lonely and depressed. He grew a hateful complex towards the town as he felt that there was nothing to do. He was bored and friendless. Once the opportunity to step foot inside another world came up, he took it because he was bored and wanted to be a hero. His insecurities emerged in the form of his shadow, which he eventually grew to accept. Alongside Yu Narukami and the rest of the Investigation Team, he grew to love the town of Inaba and treasure his memories there. Yosuke is sort of a wannabe ladies' man, who is intrigued with girls. He also has a slightly perverted side, which he tries not to show around Chie and Yukiko, lest they actually try and harm him. Yosuke tends to have a lackadaisical demeanor, and may not show how fretful he really is about something. He can have his verbal blunders, but he is a decent liar half of the time. He doesn't like being dishonest, however. But he can be a bit of a complainer when situated with tasks he doesn't want to do, like school projects or extra work shifts. He'll be more likely to actually work than do a school project, because school projects don't earn him any money at all. Unlike many others, he fails to see the thrill in adulthood. There's no adventure, only settling down and paying taxes. Still, Yosuke has a firm sense of righteousness and attempts to be very kind and charitable to others. He makes mistakes, but usually attempts to fix them. He can be a bit whimpy at times, because of how he acts when Chie threatens him with violence. Yosuke is nonetheless talkative when speaking with people he likes. He hates being forced to talk to people, like whenever he's at a gathering of relatives-because he never knows what to say and hardly remembers anyone's name. He'd do almost anything to get bailed out of those awkward situations. Yosuke is actually quite resourceful. He's admittedly good with working his way around the internet and is talented with gathering information. Unfortunately, he's not too organized and can tend to lose objects and information somewhat easily. His room is a mess. He hardly ever cleans it. Yosuke may also not be too self-confident at times, and his confidence may depend on how his friends and others value him, although this affects him less now that he has genuine friends-who actually enjoy being around him and value him. Yosuke is a generous and loyal friend who hardly ever falters when someone is depending on him. Bio: Yosuke Hanamura grew up in the big city. From a young age, he was a sociable kid, silly and playful. His parents were middle class workers and they always had a positive relationship with each other as well as with him. Not much went on in his elementary years. He was mostly a happy kid back then. As life went on, and as he moved to middle school, his group of friends distanced themselves from him. They moved onto new people, and eventually they never spoke to him anymore. This was when he first started to feel truthfully alone. His father was a manager at a large store chain, called Junes. Yosuke wasn't artistic, or athletic, or incredibly academically gifted. So most people viewed him as no one special. Middle school was when he truly began to doubt himself. His self-confidence declined after he got into middle school. He became clingy and tedious with any friend he had after that, causing many to abandon him and dump him. His attitude about himself grew more and more negative, at times impacting his studies. Yosuke eventually found friends in high school. Not very many, and they all only stuck around for the free meals. He was admittedly a tedious person back then, constantly texting them and fearing abandonment. No one truly paid attention to him besides his parents. His peers utterly disregarded him. But hollow friendship was just enough to satisfy him. After he moved away, those in the city were glad. After transferring, he found himself being just as miserable as he had been before. Until Yu Narukami came to town. Yu Narukami was an individual who brought him back to liking himself. Yu Narukami became his best friend, his "partner". Through Yu Narukami, they started their journey. After Saki Konishi-Yosuke's object of affection-was murdered, they set out to find the true murderer, and many more friends came to be after that. Abilities: Yosuke is able to summon a Persona, which is a physical manifestation of the facade one uses to face hardships. His Persona, Susanoo, mostly uses wind based magic alongside some physical moves. Unfortunately, Susanoo doesn't have the greatest stamina or defenses, much like Yosuke himself. He's extremely acrobatic. While lacking raw, physical power, Yosuke is speedy enough to evade most heavy attacks, and is agile enough to attack using either fast pokes, or with powerful wind magic. He's definitely able to defend himself against most foes, which is a heavy contrast against how he regularly appears. He is also capable of effectively handling kunai. Universe of Origin: Persona 4

Name: Naoto Shirogane Age: 16 Species: Human (Persona user) Gender: Female Personality: Naoto Shirogane is a complex and intelligent individual. She's very mentally dexterous, and is a focused and skilled multitasker. She can balance her checks, write an essay and research through criminal records all at the same time. She is one of the most focused people, and will complete any assignment right after it's given to her. She never procrastinates and has a very strong amount of dedication towards her work. She knows how vital her work is to catching criminals is. She's a fast learner, and has easily been regarded as an utter genius by most of the others in her field of work, as well as outside her field of work. She's incredibly young to be a detective, nonetheless one that is famous throughout the area and perhaps the entire country. As a result of her young age, she has been frequently underestimated in her workplace. Others who are first meeting her often expect an older man, and are surprised to see such a small and youthful individual being introduced to them. She despises the feeling of being disregarded and underestimated. She has had discrimination aimed towards her, mostly due to her age since many believe her to be male. Yet, she refrains from openly and directly stating her dislike of being ignored. But she makes it clear by working obsessively on each case she's given. She's absolutely dedicated and stubborn about solving all of the cases she can. While she does have the wits and boldness to solve mostly every case she's given, many detectives dislike such a young person taking their places. She can become very bold when provoked, and due to that, many of the other detectives have a habit of looking down on her. Naoto is very insecure about her gender and age. Most male detectives don't take female detectives seriously. As for her age, she yearns to be seen as an adult-or an equal, to every highly known detective that she works with. She hates being looked down upon as a weirdo, or being too young for the job that she does. This is why she tends to hide the "geekier" side of her that likes to read comic books and such. Since the occupation field she's in is so sexist, she at one time was fully ashamed of her gender. Whenever someone treats her like a child, it's likelier that she'll lose her temper and lash out. It's one of her only berserk buttons that can make her fully angered. She hates bigots of all kinds. Naoto is quite mature and has an expansive vocabulary. There were once rumors that due to her size, she skipped a couple of grades. But said rumor was shut down immediately after she became irritated by it and retorted. While she makes her own discoveries, she is a person who is dedicated to leaders that she respects, such as Yu Narukami. She has an extreme amount of loyalty, and is fiercely dependable. She is a reliable friend. She does not tolerate any slander being aimed towards her friends or family. Underneath all of the intellect, she is actually somewhat sensitive. She can take certain insults to heart, and they can shake her self-confidence. She is incredibly good with hiding her true feelings. Since she's masqueraded as a male for so long, sheh's also a rather talented and dexterous actor. She prefers not to lie, but has felt tormented by her guise in the past and how untrue it is to herself. She is genuinely noble, and has a pure heart when it comes to morality. She has had lapses in judgement before (such as her suggestion of killing Nametame after she believed him to be the killer)... which she greatly regrets, but also reflects upon often. She learns from her mistakes. Naoto is someone who is very accustomed to change, and is quite adaptable to alterations in her surroundings. At times, she may fear the unknown. Having order in her life is something that she feels comforted by, and when that order is disrupted, even she can become a bit irritated or unnerved. For the most part, Naoto Shirogane is a very sensible young woman, which comes as a part of her career. She's an expert at deductions, and is someone who hardly ever loses her cool. She isn't a person who rushes to get things done, and she can tend to function well under even under an immense amount of pressure. She's practical, down-to-earth, and if she had not seen the TV World with her very own eyes, she wouldn't have believed in its existence. She has never been a dreamer, but instead she is a person who mostly relies on facts and reality. When dealing with money, she is a prudent spender who has a relatively balanced budget. Bio: Naoto's parents died in a car accident when she was of a very young age. Although she doesn't remember them well, she knows that they were both famous detectives, leading her to take up the same career. She was raised in her grandfather's estate, forcing her to mature quickly. Throughout life, she was a mentally sharp young woman, who excelled at deductions. Often, she would be buried in the sci-fi and detective novels that were in her grandfather's library. Thanks to her grandfather's influence, she was allowed to become a detective at a very young age. Due to an early, negative experience regarding her gender, her confidence was shaken and she began to masquerade as a young man instead. As she matured, she found herself rather distant from other students her age, most likely due to the immense workload she had due to her occupation. As she continued solving cases and becoming more famous throughout the region and country, her search for notorious cases landed her in the small town of Inaba. There had been two murders and several kidnappings there, which caught her attention. Naoto was unpleasantly surprised, when the police force just about disregarded her appearance. She despised being looked down upon. She began to be a workaholic, and started to investigate on her own rather than with anyone else against the police force's advice. She was among the first to discover that those shown on the notorious Midnight Channel would be the next kidnapping victim. Thus, she questioned Kanji Tatsumi about the recent happenings in his life. She was frustrated after he was kidnapped and returned, leaving her with no leads. However, she continued to work and later enrolled at Yasogami High. Her serious and at times deadpan nature pushed away any admirers that tried to swarm to her. After Mitsuo Kubo claims himself to the culprit of the murders and the kidnappings, Naoto came upon most members of the Investigation Team and scolded them over their efforts, only to be rebuked by Rise Kujikawa. After Kubo's arrest, Naoto became so suspicious that she uses herself as bait, appearing on television in order to lure the killer in. The culprit did come and throw her into the TV, leaving her with her shadow-who revealed Naoto's true gender as female. Her shadow taunted her for not being male, and she subsequently denied that her shadow was apart of her, leading it to attack. After it's defeat, she accepted it, allowing her to obtain a Persona, and join the efforts of the Investigation Team to find out the true culprit. Abilities: Naoto is able to summon a Persona, which is a physical manifestation of the facade one uses to face hardships. Her Persona, Yamato-Takeru, mostly specializes in dark or light attacks, with some physical or almighty thrown into the mix. Her Persona tends to have balanced skills. Naoto herself is a jack-of-all-trades, who tends to have balanced magic and physical power. Her primary weapon is a pistol. Universe of Origin: Persona 4
