Personality: John is older than he looks. He sees that the world isn't black and white, that everything is shades of grey. However he has a strong desire to live up to the expectations set in front of him, as a muggleborn wizard. He can't help but do what he thinks is right, damn the consequences. In addition to this, John is extremely cocky and stubborn, not able to live without letting everyone in the room know that he thinks he's smarter than all of them, which is very possible, given the amount of reading he's done on the wizarding world in the past few months.

History: John has displayed signs of magic since a young age. He used to move building blocks around without moving a finger, and teachers would often report him for bringing firecrackers to school, although he was never found with any. His parents were both artists, his mother a writer and his father a musician, but they always carved time out of their busy days to spend time with their child. John always excelled in academics, and he was set to join his towns local football team before he got his letter.
