I'm sorry, I've been going through a bit of a rough patch myself. The options I thought of with this thing, assuming there are still people interested in continuing:

A) We start over, opening recruitment again to fill the inevitable gaps. This is incredibly unelegant and I'd prefer not to go down this route, but if we have to, we'll have to.

B) I'll take over the characters whos owners have dropped out. Quite obviously they'd [i]come to an end[/i] rather soon. Afterwards we could open recruitment again, beginning some sort of "rotation" where characters drop out and are replaced, while there remains a "core" group. I would like this variation a lot more since it'd allow us to actually have people leave/join the RP and it wouldn't be awkward. It'd also make for some newbie/veteran experience disparity.
