Damian parked his bike at the back of the warehouse. "Wow its like we didn't almost get killed by glorified rats last night." He laughed as he walked towards the building, his hand hovered close to his revolver just in case. As he neared closer towards the entrance he caught sight of the blob from last night exactly where he left it. "Why in the hell are you still here?" He stared down at the pathetic green blob, poking it lightly with his finger. "Those cleanup crews are lazy bastards, couldn't even take the time to kill you." He scoffed and headed back towards the door. "Not that I'm any better got more important things to do than worry about killing you, I'll come back for ya." He pushed inside, revolver drawn. Despite the fact that he had his gun drawn he didn't expect to find anything hostile, since the cleanup crew should've came and gone by now. Given the nature of the business and his own terrible luck he shouldn't have been surprised to find a giant bat chewing on one of the members of said cleanup crew. The bat stopped chewing when it noticed him and looked down at him it face twisting into what he assumed was some sort of grin. "HHHhhhiiii....." "Ummm, hey there. You, um having a snack?" Damian spoke revolver still at the ready, and his legs ready to instantly bolt towards the door. "YEeeeesssh. It has been such a looooong time since I have walked amongssst your kind, it seemed appropriate to celebrate my return asss ssssuch. " The Bat swallowed the rest of the corpse it was chewing audibly and let out a relieved sigh. "Where are my manners? I am Camazotz once worshiped as the god of bats, ruler of death, and progenitor of ritual sacrifice." The Bat sighed again. "I miss the sacrifices....how come you humans don't do thhaat anymore?" Camazotz asked staring straight at Damian. "Guess people lost the nerve for it I guess." Damian muttered as he inched towards the door. "I'm, um Damian by the way. It is nice meet you um Lord Camazotz." Last thing he wanted was to make the god think he was rude, and stroking its ego probably wouldn't hurt. He knew Gods existed, seriously he had all manner of monsters and spirits it would be pretty hypocritical of him to believe the gods of legend didn't exist in some capacity or another. Still this fun little experience was his first and he was definitely hoping it wouldn't be his last. "Lord Camazotz? Respectful of your betters, unlike these whelllps. I like that Damiannn." Camazotz craned his head down to Damian's eye level. "Civil and respectful you are truly an example for you kind. I don't even want to eat you." Camazotz didn't notice Damian breath a sigh of relief from near the door, as he craned his head up near the ceiling again, as if he was listening to something distant. "Huh? He's one of them? Such a shame, but the death of those of the Blackwell blood were the terms of our contract after all by my divinity I shall uphold my end." The Bat God sighed again. "Unfortunately Damian I have to kill you. But fear not as one who has earned my esteem I shall make your death quick and painless." He turned his head to face him, but found Damian missing from the spot he left him in. Damian was already on his bike when Camazotz exploded from the Warehouse ceiling, fangs bared and screeching. "Go screech at someone else you ugly asshole!" Clearly the Bat God was not happy with Damian's switch in demeanor, because it instantly dived right for him still screeching at him like a bat out of hell. He would've laughed at the pun if he wasn't so freaked out at the moment. "Oh shit!" He gunned the engine, and tore off down the road, the angry Bat God close behind. "Why does this stuff always happen to me?" He fired a few shots back at Camzotz who gracefully avoided them yet in doing so managed to unintentionally crash into another nearby warehouse. "Oh my god did that really just happen?" He practically burst out laughing "Get better eyesight ya loser!" The screeching resounded from the warehouse and hundred of man-sized bats flew from the hole Camazotz made in the building, followed by the Bat God itself who was he noticied getting angrier by the second.. DAMIAN!!! Damian let out an uncharacteristic yelp sound and continued in fleeing the now army of giant bats chasing him. "Why did I open my big mouth?"
