Plot Ideas
I admit that I am mostly stealing this from an old 1x1 that I quite miss. For this, I would be playing Thomas. Kumiho are the Korean version of nine-tailed foxes. The basic concept is if a fox lives for 1,000 years it will become a kumiho and then gains the ability to shape-shift, most commonly into a beautiful woman. "Most legends state that while a kumiho was capable of changing its appearance, there is still something persistently fox-like about it (i.e. a fox-like face, a set of ears, or the tell-tale nine tails) or a magical way of forcing; its countenance changes, but its nature does not." There are then varying tales on how said kumiho can become human if they so choose. The one I am most interested in says a kumiho can become human "if the man who sees her true nature keeps it a secret for ten years." This is where Thomas would come in. Your character would try to form a relationship with Thomas to build trust and see if he could be the one to keep her secret for her. Since he is blind, she would have no difficulty hiding her true identity until the time was right. If you're interested in something a little darker, we can go with the tale where a kumiho must eat the heart or liver of 1,000 men to become human. Cause... it'd be super messed up if Thomas found out his friend/ love interest was murdering men so she could be with him indefinitely. Though the myth is Korean, the original setting was a small town in the foothill of Mr. Ranier in the present time. However, once again, if you prefer a different time period or more fantastic setting, we can do that too.

A human of massive untapped magical potential draws the attention of the Faerie Queens, and each wishes to bind him to her will before the other. To this end, both the Summer and Winter courts have sent agents to approach his human. Through guile and duplicity, they must fool the young man into either accepting a binding agreement of his own free will or becoming trapped within the realm of Faerie. Only one court may lay claim to any individual, so each agent must watch for sabotage and be prepared to get their own hands dirty. The only rule governing the agreement to be made is that the subject must make it of their own free will, untainted magical or physical duress. Playing with his mind and emotions are entirely within the rules, if not expected. Influencing him magically is even permitted, so long as it does not directly lead to any attempt to strike a deal. To trap him in faerie, he must consume any food or drink of faerie make by his own hand, without compulsion. Again, trickery and keeping him in ignorance of this is allowed and expected. No matter the time period, this would take place in a world similar to the Dresden Files. For those of you unfamiliar, this basically means that all the magic and monsters of legend are real, in one way or another, and exist in the present. Various creeds and accords govern relations between various bodies of magical government, and regular humans are kept mostly in the dark. Only a few mortals without magical talent are aware of the existence of the things that go bump in the night. Mortals who hold magical ability pass it on genetically, though this is not always true. And because I like it better, individuals who practice the Craft are known either as a witch or warlock, as befits their gender. This one would also lend itself well to a third person or maybe doubling up. I personally think a fourth character would be a bit of a stretch, unless it was a party neutral to both courts and attempting to keep their target free of extra-planar influence. I'll be playing Morgan for this one.

Random plot starters that I will add from time to time. --> Planet in the Firefly 'verse recently besieged by Reavers. Two (or four or more) sane survivors must find a ship, get it space worthy, and get the hell off-planet. Be prepared for bloodshed and potential gore. --> A skilled young knight is tasked with protecting a strong-willed and independent prince/ss. When he/she decides to run off to escape an arranged marriage, will they convince the knight to follow? Will they be hunted, and will their bodyguard be among those pursuing? --> The world has been torn asunder by dark magics, leaving nearly everything and everyone dead or dying of a wasting illness. A decade later, the dead begin to rise at the command of the one who started the cataclysm and hunt those left alive. A pair (or small group) of adventurers takes it upon themselves to see the end of this Necromancer. D&D-Style fantasy setting, expect some dungeon crawling and more than a little survival. --> A small town in the mountains and surrounded by woodland is the subject of many absurd news stories. Supernatural happenings are common enough there that they are almost discounted. Working with the police, however, is a vigilante Hunter who seeks to put an end to the town's misfortune. An old friend (possibly lover) of theirs returns to town in the dead of night, unannounced, and at the same time that a series of grisly murders has started. --> The two best members of the city guard work opposite shifts for one simple reason: they hate each other. However, when something goes terribly awry and the town starts falling down around their ears, they are forced to work together. If they can set aside their differences, they might just be able to save their home. --> Something along the lines of Sword Art Online, where players are stuck in a game and true death is a very real possibility. We could use any of the games presented in the anime, or come up with something of our own. Other game worlds are also a possibility, though I may veto something I don't know very well.
Who I Have Been The characters presented here are collected from a myriad of both 1x1 and group RPs of all types, time periods, and genres. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to including them in almost anything, so if you're curious about one, don't hesitate to ask.
Age: 19 Appearance: Thomas is of average height, if not slightly taller, but fairly slim of build. His eyes are steel grey, and constantly dull and unfocused. Straight black hair falls around his shoulders to midway down his spine. He has little in the way of muscle or fat, but enough to keep him from being boney. His skin is pale due to a preference of avoiding the sun. Personality: The events of Thomas' life have made him a shy and meek individual overall. That does not mean, however, that he is never angry or cheerful or talkative. For the most part, only close friends see the more open side of him, and he has very few of those. Trust is very valuable to him and he does not give his own away easily. Bio: Having been blinded at a young age in a hiking accident with his father, Thomas grew up with a healthy mistrust of those who were supposed to protect and provide for him. It probably did not help that his parents divorced only a year after he was born, leaving Thomas to live with his mother and see his father on specific occasions. After the accident, his father no longer came around, reinforcing Thomas' cynical beliefs. This led him to make few friends as he grew up, and many of those he saw for what they were; people who wanted to seem compassionate and kind by befriending 'the blind kid,' and not his friends at all. Likes: A good rain storm, classical music, the feeling of grass or shag carpeting under bare feet. Dislikes: Pity, crowds, large open places, loud unnatural sounds, the assumption that he's helpless. Hobbies: Flute, piano, wandering in the woods with Jericho. Other: Is typically accompanied by a guide dog, a Collie named Jericho.

Age: 26 Appearance: Standing an inch over six feet, Bernard weighs at least one hundred and eighty pounds, primarily made up of lean muscle. His eyes are bright green behind shoulder length brown hair that matches a close cropped beard covering the lower half of his face. A scar runs down his left cheek from the bridge of his nose to his jawbone. His skin has the tan of someone used to working under the open sky, and calluses from tools and weapons cover his hands. Personality: Bernard is an obstinate, determined man. When he wants something, very few things are able to stand in his way. His gruff exterior serves to keep most others away, which suits him just fine. He is a level-headed and calm individual, and it takes a lot to get under his skin if you don't know exctly what buttons to push. Once he's angry, Bernard is hot-tempered and prone to acting without caution or thought. Bio: Having been born and raised in the small village of Arnoldholdt deep in the woods, Bernard grew up on a farm. The work bored him, but it filled the majority of his time. What little he had left to him was spent with his family, or with his older brother in the woods. They were on the edge of civilization, and life was relatively simple. For a time, at least. In the same year that a ruined crop left the village starving, Bernard lost his brother to a wolf pack just after his sixteenth birthday while they were hunting to feed the family. Heart hardened by the loss, he went into the woods not without his fear but as a master of it, knowing that the rest of his village would depend on the game he could bring in. Years later, the farm his parents had owned belongs to another, allowing Bernard to hunt freely. It was too large for him to manage on his own, and he preferred the active hunt to the passive life of a farmer.

Age: 21 Appearance: Morgan is 5'9" and his form is wiry with lean muscle. His neck-length hair is the color of black coffee, and it often falls over his face. Ice blue eyes look out from under these locks, distant as they judge they world. The lines of his cheek and jaw are sharp and his skin is very pale. Jagged scars run from the back of his neck to his tailbone. He almost always wears a thick black scarf, and usually a heavy gray jacket. Personality: Morgan is generally seen as quiet and reserved, and for good reason. He is prone to get lost in introspection, even in the middle of a conversation. Equally slow to judge and to trust, his every move and word in public seem to be chosen with deliberate care. Even among friends he tends to be seen as a little odd, though once he warms up he becomes more free and talkative. He tries hard to avoid drama of any kind, but inevitably tries to help his friends as best he can. It's not hard to make him uncomfortable as he's fairly modest and shy, and he tends to be awkward around women he finds attractive. Bio: Growing up with several sisters, both full and half, didn't do Morgan many favors. They came first for the most part in his family, leaving him feeling as the odd one out in more ways than one. He spent his entire life on the edge of both his family and society as a whole. Feeling stifled, he struck out on his own as soon as he could. Living in a basement apartment, he works at a local bar to get by.
Unfortunately, most of my characters previous to these have been lost to the sands of time. As I create more, if I like them, I will add them here.
