The Year is 2000 after the great explosion, the world have changed quite drastically, nothing is like it was before. There is little known of the rest of the world, each sentient being is merely conscious of their own region alone. The story of the RP takes place in the southern lands of [color=f26522]Apektha[/color], a deserted wasteland with barely a few towns left from the old world. More specifically, on the outer rims of Apektha, at the [color=00aeef]dead valleys of Nur[/color]. There it is said that a great rift holds beneath its surface the greatest threats to the planet, and the very existence of the collective consciousness of sentient beings. Monsters, that is what kids of the region would call them, monsters of the rift. 

A team of young Humans, the bravest, the most intelligent and the less fortunate were tasked to protect the rift and thus sacrifice their lives for the protection of the world. The team was picked by the last remnants of the Old World's elders, on their behalf these young warriors and heroes act in the name of all that is good. They live their day to day lives just a few hundred miles close to the rift, patrolling or training. Occasionally there would be some monsters creeping out of the rift and trying to make it to the Human world, however none was dangerous or big enough to overpass the team. Things are going to change however, with unsettling events promised to be unfolded. The team must rediscover their purpose and strengthen their bones and souls to face what is coming.

[b]On the general Decorum: [/b]
Please use common sense and logic (manners as well) when it comes to conflict or the general attitude while in the OOC and IC. Don't spam, don't kill off important characters or godmode, don't even mess around in the OOC by posting too many unnecessary stuff. Just be fun, engaging (in a meaningful way) and respectful of others.

[b]On the posting:[/b]
Like most RPs, the posting might be too rapid or too slow at first, but once everything settles we will all mutually agree on a comfortable posting pace, for starters just post every 2 posts minimum. The posting length I am expecting is that of a High Casual RP, meaning it shouldn't be too short, at least two paragraphs and up. And please avoid WORDY posts with no meaning, as long as what you are writing is meaningful and interesting, keep on writing.

On the RP World:[/b]
There are technologies from the old world still existent, guns, laser lassos, electric swords...etc. However because of the apocalypse, none of those weapons are as available or functioning a 100%. Therefore more old weapons are preferred, maces, iron swords, kung fu, whatever suits your character. As for [color=fff200]Magic[/color] it only exists nearby the Rift and it is a stuff of legends everywhere else in the world. Can your character have magical powers? Nope. But it can harness the magical aura with technology, given your character is a tech freak or an ancient monk who can blend magic and technology. 

[b]On the Monsters:[/b]
The monsters we are going to face are gonna be attacking constantly in a wave form, leave the monster creation and control to me, each wave there will be new monsters which profiles will be posted in the OOC, all will be linked to each other so don't worry about missing stuff out (you shouldn't miss anything if you read posts and pay attention). There will be regular waves, strong waves, and boss waves.

We live on the outskirts of [color=f26522]Apektha[/color], which is a region southern of a bigger piece of land (won't name it just yet.) Specifically we live in the dead valleys of Nur which the rift is located at.
