The music had faded out after a while, leaving her in absolute silence, albeit....it was not a peaceful silence. Suddenly, her crimson eyes shot open with a gasp escaping her lungs, as yet another presence entered the room unannounced, dark, malevolent, and quite familiar. The pungent, iron stench of blood was wafting through the breeze of the open window, a cold, chilling breeze... "Are you enjoying yourself?" The raspy voice entered her ears akin to a haunting requiem, coursing her to turn and face the ever intimidating masked man with hair white as a ghost, wearing his all black suit with a red tie, along with the regal pendant emblazoned on his sleeve, that of a black shield with a red Templar cross adorning it. "It's good that you are assimilating well, Kurohime, but don't get too comfortable." "Master...?" Kurohime breathed, her voice monotone, yet with an inflection of concern upon the tip of her tongue. "How did you get here?" "I have my ways." Master resumed leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, his constant scrutinizing gaze of eyes like black pearls towards Kurohime. Don't forget the reason you are here, my dark angel. What reason is that?" His eyebrow rose slightly. "To...to train..." Kurohime answered after a hesitant nod. "And?" Master added, his dark eyes narrowing into sharp slits. Kurohime gulped, a sharp tinge to her throat as if it were swelling shut, "The...target..." "Good." Nodded Master in return, a subtle movement under his mask indicating a wry smirk. "Remember Kurohime, these people mean nothing to you. Your only loyalty is to our cause. It took alot of work to acquire that letter for you. Do not disappoint us." And with that, he shoved himself away from the wall, tarrying across the room to the open window. He stood there for a moment, gazing out unto the sprawling green grasses of the campus, his eyes dimming over as he sighed. "This world has brought you and I so much pain. Why let it continue its meaningless existence? I will be contacting you again, momentarily monitoring your progress. Farewell, Dark Princess." In a sudden flash his suit, black as midnight, became a plumage of shimmering black feathers fluttering in the wind, the lonely caw of a crow heard in the distance. It was the fashion in which he always left. Dark Princess....that is what her name meant, who she was....and yet....who she wasn't. Alone, Kurohime watched as the black bird soared away, fading into the horizon...into nothing.
