He prefers to wear clothes that are in style, common, and fashionable to blend in with human society. His shaggy, dark brown is generally slicked back and accompanied by a thin, trimmed layer of hair along his jawline, chin, and upper lip. He has a pale and narrow face. His eyes are a dark brown, as well, though they occasionally seem to be almost red. Personality: Klaus comes as very laid back and easy going, maybe even a little smug, but formal. He can be very charismatic and flirtatious, as well. That said, he as a darker and more serious that comes out when he feels vulnerable or angry. Underneath the exterior, he can be rather sadistic and cruel. If he catches you alone and doesn’t think any repercussions will come of it, he’ll be rather antagonizing. Equipment: While he typically doesn't carry weapons, he currently carries a silver coated knife in his jacket with feral vampires being out and about. Background:To make a long, boring story short, Klaus was the other man to his best friend's wife. While stupid, there was a degree of innocence to it: he truly believed he loved her and she seemed to return the feelings. However, when the two of them were caught, she insisted he had forced himself on her. So he literally ran from her husband, but he didn't have to run for long--a vampire attacked. The husband was killed and Klaus was turned into what he is today. However, he wasn't cared for very well; his sire used him as a living blood bag to fuel his own strength, sparking the disgust he has for feral vampires today. Luckily, his sire grew tired of him and eventually moved on--maybe back to humans or to another vampire, Klaus doesn't really care--and Klaus was free to live as he pleased. Klaus had easily adjusted to vampire life, so the next several centuries were always manageable. He never returned to his lover, but she was often on his mind for the first several years. Though as he met more men and women, the feelings of disgust and betrayal eventually wore out--although he does have a particular distate for cheaters and liars in modern days. And while he has been around the block, he had never really fallen in love again. Save for twenty years ago: he fell hard and to save her from dying--and out of love--turned the woman of his dreams and beyond. However, she was aboslutely disgusted to have become a vampire, and she couldn't cope very well. She left him, leaving a bitter taste on both their tongues, and it still bothers him today. And today, vampires are feeding on other vampires. Haunted by memories of being violated and used, Klaus is interested in joining this battle against the re-emergence of feral vampires. While he has usually kept to his self and avoided The Society--and especially hunters--he finds that an issue like this is worth confronting. Even if he has to work with others to do it. Extra: - Relatively weak for an older vampire in both strength and speed - His relationship with The Society is a rocky one: he partially blames them for not being able to keep control over his sire even though he's not really interested in their rules either. He dances over their line of what's considered okay, but never openly challenges the Octus to take him out if he's such a problem.
