[@Maxx] I agree it may not make things better but it does expand your vocabulary. As for me, I tried to use that approach for the sole purpose of avoiding redundancies. A common pet-peeve of mine, actually and it's becoming one of the main reasons why I often encounter writer's block. I do admit that at some point when you use these words, it will sound exactly the same compared to when you just simplify the prose, only adding little emphasis to the matter. It's just that I dislike my old way of writing and I've been trying to change it by using a different approach. Probably this might not be the correct one but it can help improving the process. 

EDIT: I've already received spoilers from TFA thanks to my co-workers. Regardless, I'm still going to watch it.
