[@MetalLover]I was meant to ask this for a while now so I say it. What should we assume about this apocalypse? And how messed up is the civilization? If this were fallout then practically all major infrastructures would be bombed and people have a hard time to know what's going on a few hundred kilometers away much less to know the state of the world. But given the location of our nations and all that I have the impression that while we did suffer an Apocalypse they recovered relatively well. Kind of like Age of Rebirth but with more anarchy. Which one is the image you're aiming for?
The apocalypse drove the surviving members of humanity underground and a lot of infrastructure and technology was destroyed, but the 200 years underground + the surviving technology allowed for a lot of humanity to recover, just in different ways, meaning that one nation might be a bit steampunkish in nature, and another might be a bit more focused on the technology that they recovered and advanced from the Age of Rebirth, so to put it likely, its like an Age of Rebirth with more variation in technology and a lot more anarchy.
actually, scratch that, im going to do a Neo-Feudal Japan
That sounds interesting.
