It's an ancient evil, are you telling me the Darkness has no place for it?

Could it be that the recent stirrings in the Kingdom have disturbed it? Maybe Nyarlathotep has the power to command and converse with it? 

I see no difference between someone playing this, and someone playing as a dragon, and so with that in mind, perhaps Nyarlathotep could have deliberately agitated it, so that it could be used to bring damnation and fear to the Kingdom's outposts. 

Until Oglaff finds it and kills it with his manliness.
