Katie was in the town square, looking at all the various buildings and monuments. A temple to each pantheon, including the Finnish gods of her ancestry, stood here. She walked over to a small chapel for her father and left a couple of tomatoes from her garden as an offering. Nothing like what she would have given at the summer festival, just a gift to keep her in his thoughts.

"Nice work, Madison. Your skills are improving quite rapidly." Hecate looked at her daughter. The goddess appeared in her mid-twenties, with blonde hair and eyes that seemed to change color of their own accord. "That's enough for today, though." She waved her hand and dissolved into the air. "Not even a goodbye? Really?" Madison shrugged. Still, she had to admit her mother was right. Her spells were getting stronger, though she had much to learn yet. As was usual, she checked over the stocks of her magical ingredients. "Hmph. Out of deer hide again." She stepped outside to get some fresh air. Maybe she'd head over to Artemis in a little while to pick some up. The Goddess of the Hunt always seemed to have some spare supplies around, and she was friendly enough.
