Boulderstar was in conversation with the queen of her clan. She was listening to her words clearly. But yet she still noticed the young wanna-be-warrior Granitepaw sneak up on her. Sneak? Well.... if you wanna call it that. She had a hard time to not find it funny and spoil that she already had seen the little tom. Boulderclan noticed how he went for an attack, she decided it'd be best to just step aside and let him fall to the floor. But then the apprentice screamed "Surprise attack" at her and she couldn't hold it anymore. She quickly spun around and got up on her back paws. She didn't intend to hurt the cat, oh no it was quiet the opposite. The young cat flew down on her from above and she let him crash into her fully. They smashed on the ground and then all of a sudden the leader was above the apprentice, two paws on his chest. And smiling. "Got'cha!", she meowed happily. "You should not exactly scream 'surprise attack' when you wanna do a surprise attack. That kinda spoils the whole thing." She nudge his head with her node quickly before releasing him from underneath her. "I assume you are bored, little warrior?" Boulderstar really liked the apprentice. He wasn't afraid of her, yet he seemed to respect her. She liked to have a nice connection so her clan cats. And this young tom seemed to really have something that spoke to her. She enjoyed the little interruption. At the least, she had taught him a lesson about yelling. Today was a good day for the leader. Boulderstar felt light hearted and enjoyed having a quiet and nice day. Hopefully it would stay like this.
