He invited us, hubby's whole family, his gf's family, and all his friends.

But I only like hubby's family. As in his mom, brother, and sister. And I would probably not even party with them.

Maybe I'll suggest drinking game night. Like, Drinking CAH or something. So us adults can stay home and be peaceful xD
