[b]ABSTRACT:[/b] The Best Queen

[b]DETAIL:[/b] Each morning, just as the sunlight struggles to peek over the wall-to-the-sky, the loudspeakers throughout the city jingle a happy little tune. [i]"Good morning, everyone!"[/i] Queenie's voice bubbles through the speakers. [i]"It's a chilly morning. I hope you have your slippers on!"[/i] Very few city folk have anything bad to say about Queen Orchid: she's forever upbeat, generous and kind, and surprisingly strict just when she needs to be. She rarely leaves the Tower, and is always surrounded by robot guards, but can usually be seen waving from the balcony on sunny days.

Orchid was an only child, and a famously sickly little girl in her youth. The best doctors and mages in the city had been summoned to keep the child alive in her first five years, and the city had even held a vigil for her survival during a very risky surgery.

Twenty-five years later, Orchid is still weaker than the average city folk -- but after the passing of her parents seven years ago, she carries her new responsibility with a smile.

[b]ABSTRACT:[/b] Boss of the Wall Guard and Cracker of Whips

[b]DETAIL:[/b] Dazz is most widely known as a no-mercy hard-ass. She expects perfection of every guard and builder under her charge, and she has no problem using a stun gun as a point of argument. She'll kick your ass if you so much as think about whining about pay or conditions or work that's too hard. She's got a good heart, though, and she's a riot at parties. All her tough love is for her subordinates' own good, after all.
