So I had the idea for a PI. Not sure if its too far from the kind of characters you wanted. If so, I'll put him in storage for use in another rp. Otherwise, if there are things I can fix, please let me know! Name:Gabriel Deveroux Abstract: Private “Eye” who once saw more than he should Detail: Gabriel grew up and lived in a moderate part of the city. His parents were kind and his life was well. Nothing too weird or different happening around him. Gabriel decided to take up the same occupation of his father; that of being an upstanding officer of the law. While growing up, he believed no one was above the law, no matter the circumstances. However, Gabriel’s sense of justice would be turned on its head when he came up against corruption in his own department. While doing some routine detective work to catch a drug dealer, he learned of his Police Chief’s involvement; taking bribes to keep other officers off the dealer’s back. He was shocked more when he found other officers were in on the same deal. So what would any sane man do when their world is turned upside down? Well, take matters into his own hands and rid the cancer before it killed the host. Gabriel was found out by the corrupt officers, but thanks to his speed and wits, he evaded them. Gabriel then unofficially officially quit the police force and went on a one man army to expose and rid the corruption inside the department. He started from the bottom of the pile and made his way up to the Chief himself. It took years, but Gabriel eventually accomplished his mission, though in the time it did, he changed from a shining example of a police officer and upstanding citizen, to a morally ambiguous Private Investigator for hire that would do anything to rid as much evil from the city. His current contract brought him to the wall where a woman believes her husband’s death was more than a simple “accident” the guards have called it. Magical Inventory: None yet.
