Uh... Had to go look that up. Premise is similar (I mean, it's been around for quite a while now), but... Well, yeah, I... Guess...?
I mean, the tl;dr of it is patch goes live for game -> People are stuck in game as avatars -> Life ensues. So if that's similar enough, then yes, I guess.
