Sacking of the Arcturan capital? Well, I'm thinking that a recent intelligence probe driven through the ranks of the Arcturanian Imperium's fighting forces has revealed that Jericha's honeyed proposals of liberation, glory, and retribution have resonated magnificently with the throne's Planetary Siege Legions: a critical extension of the Imperium's armored core whose prime composition is almost entirely comprised of Vilojaun Aspect Knights. A plot outlining the assassination of key Arcturan political personnel was also uncovered (which has also led to a number of Arcturan loyalists pressing the notion that the Vilojaun had something to do with the emperor's mysterious disappearance). Naturally, all Vilojaun military personnel directly (and indirectly) involved in the scheme were forcibly decamped to a designated penal world several hundred light-years away from Almata as part of a proactive precautionary measure against potential insurgency. They'll also be further interrogated, subjected to a military tribunal's court room, found guilty, and eventually executed if nothing outlandish unfolds beforehand. However, Brukraun Yimir and its heavily decorated and famous pilot Klevacane The Beast (a stern man who secretly harbors both a simmering distaste for imperial foreign policy and a particularly powerful romantic fondness for Jericha) will most likely be present during the sacking. Beast's unaffiliation with the assassination plot enabled him to remain on Almata unmolested, but his status as a high profile Vilojaun war leader has earned him an eternal spot on the Imperial Watch's shit list. He is suspect. His personal war idol is so mindbogglingly huge and mechanically complex that the dissembling process slated for it was postponed due to an insufficient degree of logistical and technical support. It rests in a giant "temple" (see: holding pen) located on one of the largest imperial bases on the capital. I should have that sheet done tomorrow.
