[hider=Personality] Determined and arrogant, Agnès has a slight problem with chuunibyou. She's the kind of person to brag about her capabilities or "secret" powers. When she enters a new game or MMO, she also likes to use unorthodox or exotic abilities that nobody else seem to use. Unfortunately, this often gets her caught in newbie traps, as was almost the case with Untold Eternity and the Magic Alteration system. But, despite her arrogant attitude, she means well, and generally likes to make herself out as an ally of justice who uses the power of darkness to combat evil. Using fire to fight fire so to speak. [hider=History] Agnès had been excited for the release of Untold Eternity since the day it was announced. Unfortunately, she was unable to get into the beta, so all she could do was browse the forums and listen to her online friend, Lorand, rant about how good this game would be. In the process, she had read threads online from the beta testers saying that that Magic Alteration skills were nigh worthless, took way too long to rank up, and that most effects from the Magic Alteration skill tree could be found in later spells anyways. It didn't help that Magic Alteration skills inflated the MP cost of the base spells. Despite all of these negatives, Agnès could tell that these players were just scratching the surface, and became curious as to the full potential of the Magic Alteration skill tree. If it really was a useless skill tree, she could always just make a new character or start training in other areas. When Untold Eternity was finally released to the public, she stuck to her character, prioritizing her skills over better equipment and levels, eventually falling behind her peers as they continued on. The only raid she ever took part in was the final quest of the Assembly of Silence quest line, in which players combat a cult.
Having finally reached her first A-rank Magic Alteration skill the day before the patch, Agnès was giddy with joy upon hearing that Magic Alteration would be getting some updates in the next patch (though the notes never elaborated on that fact). So naturally, of course, she was one of the first to log in right after it went live.[/hider]
