[@Savato] I go to school from 7:30 to 4, and to be honest, the character itself seemed more daunting than any of the posts I would make. Sort of a hurdle for creativity (that, and a few RL errands). Posting I can do once a day, and these just seem to be a few paragraphs. Right! Explanation/thought process feedback on the feedback!
Haiyū Chikamatsu Sasori 2.0
Be happy I tried to do something a bit more original than another Uzumaki or Uchiha.
Undecided - Double Agent for the Red Sages Yeah, be aware the death toll is massive if you want to pull a stunt like that. Especially if the guy has family. You've been warned.
Less of a 'Ah, I'm a total badass James Bond,' and more of 'Sh*t, rock and a hard place, and I can't turn anywhere'. He's more or less at the whim's of the Confederation and the Sages.
Haiyū is quiet and insightful, if a bit hard around the edges when dealing with others I'm already smelling the barbecue sauce-ke from France.
I'm stealing this. Stealing and copyrighting.
my name is haiyu, and this is jackass.
YEEHAW!!!!!
you are the only person who has managed to tl;dr this part. Holy shit
I consider it a gift. Something something power, something something irresponsibility.
the insane amount of leverage the confeds can have on him. it's almost sad, except I'm a sadistic dipshit taco
Sort of the idea. The puppeteer is a puppet. Besides, you said this was a Slice of Life and Combat RP, so, I decided to actually have some Slice of Family life. ~Will nix the Mind Body Jutsu. I figured 200+ years was enough for stuff to spread around, but no prob. ~The Dustless Bewildering Cover, never seen it used. I know its in the anime, I know who Mu is, but never actually watched that part. The way I understood it, it was his mastery of the Technique which made him so op. Haiyu of course has no such mastery, but I'd like to imagine its a more basic form of the A rank jutsu. My understanding of it seems to be the same as your compromise; that it was an effective hide from dojutsu. So, win win? ~Eh, the needleshot is just that: no poison, just "I don't have any puppets? NEEDLES!" ~The fire-release seals were my reasoning to try and give my Chunin level character a wrist mounted flamethrower~ Can I haz pretty pleaz? ~The bite is the only poison he has on him... maybe a paralyzing or sluggish poison? Effects are like any of the Sound-Nin's mind effecting stuff? ~Mamushi DOES need chakra threads. Still a puppet, but as chunin and only one puppet, he needs only the five fingers. Fortunately, those are from the hand its coiled on, and they kind of go in reverse. Different finger positions and combinations trigger different effects. The middle finger raised high to the sky shoots a banner that says "Fuck Yoooooooouuuuuu!" Issue with all puppets is that when they're broke, they're broke, they have limited number of tricks, the joints are weak, and the users are meh at close combat. Right, all kidding aside, I'll get to the changes tomorrow. Haiyu was honestly not intended to be the annoying Uchiha 2.0, but moreso someone whose just... tired and desperate. Had to grow up quicker than he would of liked, and doesn't have the same mental luxury as some people. He doesn't fight for a cause, doesn't believe in other side, and is pretty much the poor bastard literally stuck between the Red Sages and the Confederation. Any advice for conveying more of that than a delicious dish from France? Also, I'll probably flesh his history more.
