Although, after seeking refugee in Britain for reasons even he is not sure of, Augustus Welsey took a more standardized and socially acceptable name, with mannerisms that are easily distinguishable by the English. Owing to his reticent and taciturn disposition is his muffled outlook, which does not reflect on his actions generally. He is flamboyant by movement only -- always willing to strive for a better peformance. A better act. That is why he is an Aspirant in the truest sense, because whilst he may be bashful and apprehensive, he'll always be a fair executive to the House he belongs to -- pridefully carrying orders on as though they were his mother's spoken words. It'd be impossible, though, as the aforementioned had passed away from Augustus long ago. He has a grim history with the slums and murky alleyways of London. With total household freedom, Augustus took things for granted. Initially, his standards were far too high to be satisfied, and although he was not raised in a prosperous home, Augustus had begun to increment a sense of need in him -- seeking always to get the best out of this small world. When unsatisfied, he'd take off to the streets, lonely and to himself, overcast only by the silent implications of the lurid atmosphere that surrounds him. Nighttime was a hassle to get around in London, and when push came to shove, Augustus would turn back and walk over to what he'd called a home. But this habit would soon be the downfall of the twosome that raised him. They weren't providing enough. Not to Augustus. They searched and searched, and when Augustus found them -- bodies laying dead. Wasted, drawing no breath. Failing to exhale, time and time again. Blood seeped into the ground, no longer thicker than water. The smell flourished high through the atmosphere. It wasn't rot, it was more than that. It was bad breath, meandering through every sensation Augustus felt that time. Anger, fear and pain, a triplet that sung devastation and loss. A tremendous sadness took over him that day, and forgotten it'd have to be, for as a child no memories remain to you but the correctness that you did, while every wrong you'd successively made would be removed. You'd forget it as though it never happened. Augustus' true upbringing was in a bigger house, an orphanage, in a sense. He dealt with more people, and had to sacrifice his own comfort for their sake. There was no longer independence to him. Augustus had a new necessity. To socialize, but he knew that it wouldn't last long with him. He was spoiled, verily so. He didn't find fondness in conversation, nor did he want to engage in it too much. But aside from this, Augustus was always curious. He may have forgotten, but on that day, a feeling of complete curiosity was instilled deep within his spirit, and as he grew to let loose that memory, the curiosity never faded. He wanted to find out something -- he KNOWS there is something, but confirmation was all he needed. And then, the truths unveiled before him. Two vampires came to the orphanage and recognized an innate will to seek answers in him. That's when they picked him up and took him back to their house. Initially, there was no explanation. Just confusion, he did not know what this was, WHERE this was. But he knew that some of his questions were finally given an answer to. Presently, he is an Aspirant with a wholehearted hope of being able to grow and improve himself for the better, and reach for what those in the Ventrue house promised him of. To become one of them. To gain approval.
