Con season is coming and I was wondering if there were any other Comic con enthusiasts on the Guild. (I mean, I'm sure there are, so here's a thread for you).

I'm curious about what conventions you're planning on attending but I'm [i]more[/i] interested in what kinda costume you'll be wearing.

I only started going to cons last year but I have cosplayed every time and it's honestly the best part for me. I mean, I wouldn't go if I wasn't in costume. 

This year I'm planning on going to Wizard Con in Minneapolis with my sister, and we're going to cosplay [url=http://pre08.deviantart.net/d8e8/th/pre/i/2013/231/3/0/cecil_and_carlos_by_happy_smiley_robot-d6itogk.jpg]Cecil and Carlos[/url] from Welcome to Night Vale. And in June we're driving all the way out to Ohio for Colossal Con to meet some Tumblr friends and I'll probably end up getting drafted into their Homestuck cosplaying (she says I should be Gamzee?). Hopefully I'll catch a few more cons over the summer but we'll see, those are the two I'm for sure attending.

Some cosplays I've done in the past are Spider-Man (that one was really bad), Jeff the Killer (fun but I did accidentally make one little kid cry), but my favorite so far was Nana Osaki from the anime "Nana". I was Nana for Meta Con and Anime Fusion. At Meta Con I made some friends who offered to help me pull together the entire cast of Nana, and we all went to Fusion together. It was really awesome.
