Dar sat at his desk in his family's home, finishing up the last of the paperwork he had been given, Aura was lying on the floor beside the desk. When he finally finished, he stood and stretched, "Mmm, boy that took longer than I thought it would." he said out loud. Aura lifted her head and looked at him, "I think it's time we left, you're already running late." her gentle voice echoed in Dar's mind. He looked down at her and smiled, stroking her head gently, "You're right, as usual Aura. Just let me get a few things and we'll be off." he said. The dragon nodded and rose from the floor, making her way down the hall and into the house's library, stopping in front of the painting that hung in between two bookcases. Dar entered the library shortly afterwards, wearing his backpack, which was full of what he needed. He looked at the writing below the picture, Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts was written on the plaque there. Looking at Aura and placing a hand on her, he placed the other on the picture, both of them falling through it. The feeling was the same as before, when he used to attend the old academy, it felt like he was falling through both the air and sinking in water. The first time he had gone through this, he thought he was going to die, but now that he was accustomed to the feeling, he knew he wasn't going to. Aura followed her master's lead and remained calm, despite this having been her very first time doing this, though her tail moved as if she were trying to swim in water. Dar couldn't help but chuckle, "Relax, Aura, we'll be fine." he said to her mentally. The dragon glared at him, "It's not like I'm moving it on purpose! It's just a natural reaction!" she replied. Dar chuckled again before the two finally landed on the soft grass of the academy. He stood and looked up at the building, it looked almost like the one he graduated from, "Well Aura, welcome to our new home for awhile." he said. The dragon moved closer to Dar, unsure of what to make of this new environment, "It looks nothing like back home...I don't like it." she told him. Dar smiled and shook his head, "You don't have much choice, unfortunately, so you might as well get used to it. Besides, I'm sure you'll meet other dragons here as well. It's a good chance to learn about others of your species, and for others to learn about yours. After all, you are officially the first Aqua Dragon at the academy, and by extension, the most knowledgeable one here. Even I don't know everything about your species, and my family were the ones that discovered you." he told her. This made Aura relax a little more, she had to admit, she liked being known as the first Aqua Dragon to set foot in this place.
