With the pill still kicking in, he wasn’t quite completely awake yet, the lingering throbs of the hangover headache still pounding in his head. Through all of the haze he could swear he was forgetting something, but what was it? His phone buzzed, and he glanced down at the contact, reading it a couple of times before it flooded back into his mind. ‘Right.’ He thought to himself before he punched in another quick, coherent text to his Gabriella. To: Bae bringing you something. you’ll thank me. Grant knew that Gabby was just as hungover as he was, so he was going to bring her a little bit of the magic hangover cleanser: two of his trust Adderall pills, and a pack of her favorite brand of cigs. How did Grant know so confidently that she was dealing with the same headaches as he? She’d been drinking with him. Had they done anything? Most likely. Whenever they were alone, and even slightly inebriated, they had trouble keeping their hands off of each other. But Grant couldn’t remember exactly how the night went. He’d have to go through his phone later that day to check and double check that there wasn’t any overly incriminating evidence of him and Gabby getting it--sex, or anything, really--on, lest her ‘relationship’ with Jacen be ruined. He moved back up to his room and grabbed the still-sealed pack of cigarettes from his bedside table, dumping a couple of the pills into one of the tiny ziplock bags. He had tons and tons of them, as any self-respecting drug user would have. Now supplied with the two things he wanted, Grant again went downstairs and this time made it through the door, sliding into his car and driving to lakeside. His car ride was anything but silent, by the time Grant rolled up the group of friends, they could already hear him coming nearly a mile away, his souped up stereo blasting loud music as he drove into view. Grant basically drove a seven hundred dollar car with a four thousand dollar sound system, though he hadn’t paid more than a hundred dollars for the whole thing; he knew a guy. Once parked, he shut the car off and slid out of his ride, he carefully hid his already bloodshot eyes behind his expensive sunglasses, before he waved to everyone, nodding to each of them before he smiled at Gabby. “I got you a treat, Gabby,” he explained, reaching into his pocket and holding out the baggie and smokes. “Come and get it,” he teased, holding both things high above his head. Like he was announcing his arrival, Erin turned towards the road which majority drove down, spotting Grant's car with a grin. "Finally, the king entertainer has arrived." She muttered to herself, fishing out her phone where she realised - a bit too late - that she had an unread text message. Erin snorted, she was sure that whatever Grant got, was definitely not something many sane doctors would recommend. She had an eyebrow raised as she watched Grant strolling down with sunglasses on. 'Now you're just making it obvious, you ass.' Erin shook her head, for the second time that day swallowing a comment. Seriously, the girl deserved a medal for being so generous. Erin's eyes widened at the sight of her favourite brand of cigarettes, plus a baggie filled with some adderall tablets. It was almost enough for her to let his usage of her hated nickname slide. "Oh you saint," Erin reached her hand out, expecting Grant to hand it over to her. She was in for a surprise as Grant kept his gift high up in the air. Scowling, Erin tried jumping up - she wasn't that much shorter than him - but feeling her fingers briefly brush the baggie was enough for her to know that she wasn't going to get it without giving something up. "Alright, fine. What do you want?" The girl crossed her arms against her chest, leaning on one leg as she waited for Grant to respond. Grant smiled as he watched her fingers just brush underneath the bag, he closed it in his fist and licked his lips as he watched her fold her arms over her chest, grinning. “Yeah, you’re damn right I’m a saint. I know how hungover you are, so I thought I’d help out.” He said, laughing to himself as he rolled his eyes, before he finally decided to address her concerns of what he wanted. “Kiss first. Then treat.” He explained, smiling slyly. If one was paying close enough attention, they might notice Grant’s eyes quickly dancing over to Jacen. "I take it back, you're a bloody ass." Erin grunted, still unsatisfied. She blinked a few times, going completely silent as she heard Grant's condition. It took her a moment to process his words, her face blank the entire time as she stared up at him. It was only a few seconds after did she finally open her mouth, presumably to swear before she shut it again. Erin turned to look over at Jacen briefly, who was still by Esme and Ely. She was unsure whether he had even heard Grant's offer or not. But a wicked thought ran through her mind, and before she could even stop herself, the teen turned right back around, stepping right into Grant's personal space and tugging him down by his collar. "One day you're gonna get me into a lot of trouble." She muttered against Grant's lips, the words remaining just between the two of them before she sealed the deal with a kiss. Like Grant gave a shit about whether or not he got her in trouble. He knew he was going to get his way before he even asked the questions. If she’d given him a longer time before she kissed him, he would have mentioned that he’d already gotten her into trouble before. Grant’s hands slid around her waist and gently pulled her closer to him as he tilted his head slightly, parting his lips slightly and sliding his tongue into her mouth. Over her shoulder, he idly eyed the others, lingering perhaps a bit too long on Jacen. The kiss lasted maybe thirty seconds before Grant finally pulled away from her, licking at his lips before he freed her from his grasp and smiled. “That’s my girl, Gabby,” he muttered, low enough that only she could hear to her before taking a step back and creating a distance between them. Grant held out the baggie and the smokes, “I have a lighter if you don’t. And chew the tablets. It’s better that way.” He explained, smiling down at her as he waited for her to snatch the ‘treat.’ Gabby and Grant were playing an oh so dangerous game, but he didn’t care. He hadn’t lost yet, and he didn’t think this would be the nail in the coffin. Erin's grip on Grant's collar never faltered for a moment. It was only until the two parted, the girl breathing in deeply for air as she opened her eyes. With her back still to Jacen, Erin grabbed the baggie and took out a few pills, throwing them into her mouth and following Grant's advice by chewing the pills before grabbing the box of cigarettes from his hands. Before parting, Gabby brought Grant close once again, this time bringing his ear to her lips as she whispered, "you better tell me what the hell just happened later." before pushing Grant away and stepping back. As Erin began opening the packaging to her newly won cigarette box, she glanced up at Jacen. There was no way in hell he missed that show. She didn't know what Jacen's reaction was going to be, the thrill of the unknown rushing through her veins alongside the drugs. This was an interesting start, indeed.
