It did not look like much of a powerful magical creature. The oddest thing about it was its color, but besides that it merely looked cute. Apparently its tusks would fall off every year, which would truly be an inglorious fate. Elizabeth still knew very little about the little pink elephant. Had there been more of its kind once before, and what had happened to the mother? These questions pierced at her, and she could think of many possible explanations, but she had nothing to indicate which of her hypotheses were the correct one. So Elizabeth had accepted responsibility for the elephant. It was a shame that it could not rejoin its mother. Elizabeth was not looking forward too much to having to take care of yet another animal, but she had already gone down the proper path, and there would be no turning back now. What came next Elizabeth was unsure, although it seemed certain that it was beyond her power.
