Robin stood on top of a gargoyle as rain pounded down on him. He stared down at the beautiful yet crime-filled city of Gotham. Ever since Batman, his father, had "died" and was replaced by the GCPD's Commissioner Gordon(1*), crime was rising significantly as everyone knew the original Batman was missing or dead. Meanwhile, instead of being in Gotham, Red Robin, Red Hood, and Dick Grayson were all absent and were traveling the world to unravel a conspiracy led by somebody known as the Mother(2*). Which meant Damian was on his own with Batgirl, and he was fine with it. He was handling the loss of his Father well, as he knew he wasn't truly dead. Bruce Wayne was alive, however, he was suffering from severe amnesia and doesn't remember being Batman. Therefore, he doesn't remember Damian at all. Which deeply hurt Damian, but he knew Bruce would remember one day so it was fine. Plus Batgirl and Alfred had been taking care of Damian so he wasn't completely alone. Robin put his hand to his ear and spoke, "Batgirl, I'm in position." Batgirl's voice chimed in Robin's ear, "Wait for my signal, Robin." Robin then saw someone exit the warehouse and shouted, "I'm going in for him!" "Robin, no!" Batgirl's voice buzzed into his ear, trying to get him under control. Damian leaped off the gargoyle and glided down to the pavement, just meters away from the target. "Stop before I break every bone in your body, you sick pe-" Then all of a sudden, a portal opened behind Damian and pulled him in. Batgirl's voice was the last thing he heard before everything faded to black. "Robin?! Damian?! Damia--bzzt!" -- Robin awoke as he heard everybody speaking, he remained on the ground and facing away from the others and pretended to still be unconscious. He paid close attention to the voices, and attempted to try and recognize them to no avail. He was in a room with a group of people he had never met before... could they be hostile? If so, are they the people who captured him? After several minutes, Damian decided that he needed to get the hell out of there. He swiftly leapt to his feet and pulled out his grandfather's sword that was slung over his back and pulled down his still wet hood. "Identify yourselves!" Damian shouted in an attempt to intimidate the people who stood in front of him, unafraid of what they may be able to do. He held the blade in front of him and stood in a stance that was taught to him by his grandfather, Ra's Al Ghul. If one of them approached him, he would not hesitate to attack them.
