She had done some shopping over the last forty-eight hours and splurged a bit more than she had expected; especially on the match set of Coach luggage. You only live once right? Though even with the splurge she was dressed down. She opted for a comfortable pair of blue jeans, converse sneakers, a soft white cotton t-shirt and an old hoodie for the flight. She had flown over seas several times; a summer in Moscow with her mother before she died, a year exchange in Geneva her freshman year of college, and a couple of Doctors Without Borders trips during the summers when she could fit it in. Last thing she wanted was some up tight getup on a nearly 11 hour flight. "This way Dr. Brinne," the delivery man who had dropped off the box said to her as he came out of the crowd. She nodded, paying and tipping the driver before she followed; a handler checking her luggage at the curb for her. She was surprised how quickly and how little was needed to get through security; it normally took hours. Guess whoever was funding this had pulled a lot of strings. She wasn't complaining, she really didn't want to deal with the TSA today, or any day for that matter. Who in their right mind would? "Dr. Brinne, tis a pleasure. I am Captain Wilkerson, I will by flying you and the others to Paris today," the elder captain said as he shook the doctors hand. "Um, thank you. How many others?" she asked curiously. "Two ma'am, you're the first to arrive. Anything we can get you before we leave?" he asked. "Not that I can think of, thank you though," she said as she entered the plane and looked around. This she could handle, much better than normal flights. Taking a seat in the middle of the plane by the window, she set her purse down on the table in front of her and got comfortable.
