1) What kind of "research" are you doing on Evols/mutants? Humanity lost the technology of modern genetic science so its not like you can just splice in DNA you find worthy.

2) The ships as nuclear power plants, just no. Once again, people have lost the ability to not only control reactors (assuming they haven't melted down) but the ability to obtain more uranium.

I would point out more, but right now I don't trust my brain to make anything close to an educated analysis.
