Birth Name: Galladin Denophyrius Age: Forgotten Species: Corrupted Being (Formerly Elf) Personality: Formerly a kind and brave spellcaster, wise beyond his years, now as Ergoth, any trace of kindness left centuries ago. As the evil invader, Ergoth was a deeply ambitious creature, willing to do anything to get his way, and then laugh at other's misfortune as he killed without remorse. Ergoth loved killing, though many thought he simply enjoyed fighting, he only used battle as a way to kill, other than his huge portfolio of magic spells. After being sealed, Galladin's body still harbored the corrupt being, and his body was split between three different personalities despite most of what was left of Ergoth being sealed away. The first are his attempts to recapture his magical skill during which he enters a catatonic trance, eyes rolled back and resting on his knees, during this time, he speaks in a language long since forgotten, and anyone close by reports a cold feeling across their skin, and their hairs often stand on end, for despite the fact that his magic was sealed within, he still has some kind of residue energy around and within him. The second is Ergoth, a quiet and brooding person, despite his former boisterousness, after losing, he resigned himself to silence, only speaking odd statements, often believed to be prophesies of the future. It is this personality that is most likely to attempt to escape. The third is Galladin himself, wise and kind, a loving soul who helps others with advice and kind words despite the mutilated form his body has taken. This form knows why he is imprisoned, and even at an open door he will refuse escape, instead laughing and returning to his cell. Appearance: As Galladin, he stood at around five feet, he was blond haired and green eyed, gaunt yet still toned, with a long face, large nose and feline cheekbones. His hair reached the small of his back, but near the tips of certain strands, it grew white. He wore a white cloak, signifying his place as a cleric, trimmed with yellow. At the center it parted into many layers, with a white cravat resting above. As Ergoth, his hair whitened, and his eyes turned yellow, his body unnaturally growing to seven feet and magic mutilating his face, his lips disappeared, his eyelids grew red, often hanging open, wrinkling into black bags which rested under. He wore black armor, spiked at many points, with a long helmet, also spiked, on top, changing into a golden crown, inlaid with gems, at the top. As Sealed Ergoth, he retained all of the mutilations, but on most of his body he is covered by torn up skin, which has turned white, his right hand completely black, as if it had been burnt brutally. Upon his chest rests four red markings, circles with shapes within, representing what had been sealed there. He wears a grey cloak, tears all over it's surface, resting loose on his near skeletal body as to increase his body area to look slightly intimidating, not that it was needed. Magic: Galladin studied mostly in clerical spells, eventually becoming a master of their use, able to heal brutal wounds, this also allowed him incredible skill at sealing dark energies through other clerical spells. He also took up fire magic as an offensive form, and he was able to learn to middling skill in their use. After being corrupted, he was able to use incredibly destructive spells, brainwashing, and the raising of the dead. He lost his ability to use healing magic, but instead gained huge power in every other form. The third seal upon his chest was for his massive magic reserves, meaning that he no longer has access to his own magical pool, but with the aid of other ways of gaining magic, he is able to use all of Galladin's spells, as the knowledge of all others was locked in his fourth seal, along with Ergoth's energies. Due to this, he runs out much faster than ever before, but he is able to use much higher spells with the use of a sufficiently powerful regenerative ability, though this strains his already near broken form. Possessions: An Elven Sword; Galladin possessed an elven greatsword, which he used purely for defense, as "A Healer should never have to fight". It was later used by Ergoth as a secondary weapon. Sealed within the first seal. An Elven metal staff; Another of Galladin's possessions, used to channel his magical abilities. Not used by Ergoth, but remained in his possession. Sealed within the first seal. Mace of Ergoth; A six foot tall weapon, enchanted to destroy, and to corrupt all who wielded it, it was wielded by Ergoth during both his life before being sealed within Galladin, and later after possessing him. Sealed within the first seal. Armor of Ergoth; A suit of black spiked armor, held an incredible amount of energy, crafted during one of the earliest recorded years, wearing it was what corrupted Ergoth into the being that he became. Sealed within the second seal. Ergoth A powerful being of unknown species, Ergoth was a destructive hemomancer, using blood magics and other destructive elements to attempt to rage against the gods which he believed created his sinful world, destroyed by a group of heroes, of which Galladin was a member, and then sealed by Galladin in each of them, later took over Galladin, forcing him to kill the rest, before being sealed within the fourth seal. Biography: Galladin was an immortal elf born in a year long since passed. A learner, he took to learning of magic and it's application, donating what he could to fund the creation of many magical prisons like The Pit after discovering what evils could be done with the misuse of magics. After serving in many wars, Galladin was given the status of a hero among his people, guiding them when there was little guidance to be found, serving with distinction in royal courts across the Elven realm. After Ergoth re-emerged after a century laying dormant, Galladin recruited what famed warriors and mages he could to join with him to fight the destructive force. They suceeded, and Galladin, knowing that Ergoth's will would just reform his body after another period of slumber, sealed his essence within every one of the gathered heroes. Returning home, he continued serving, until one instance where he destroyed the Royal castle, killing every single one of that realm's royal family. Fearful of what was happening, he closed himself into one of the prisons he helped create, before destroying it and returning as Ergoth. He killed the rest of the heroes, taking their portions of Ergoth, before finally being slain by a new group of heroes. Knowing of what would happen, they revived him, not before creating a group of seals for his magic, his weapons, his armor, and Ergoth himself, hoping that by doing so, he would remain weak for the rest of eternity, to contain him, they sent him to The Pit, hopeful that nothing of the sort would ever happen again.
