After some discussion, it has been decided by the body of Moderators that RPGC as a organization is subject to the principles of de facto rule. Thereby, 'Glorious Leader's' standing is ruled to be legitimate.

The direct consequence of this ruling is that 'Glorious Leader' now possesses authority by right of Providence.

While I cannot speak for the other Moderators, I will say that the undisciplined makeup of the Glorious Leader's forces is a source of some disgust for me. The Glorious Leader is just and wise, a being of great wisdom and grace - but they are one. In their haste to please the Glorious Leader in accordance with their own sick, degenerate views, some of the less scrupulous members of the Glorious Forces and Judicials have committed atrocities and enacted unwholesome laws, neither of which the Glorious Leader approves (if you would doubt it, just ask them). If such events continue to pass, the Glorious Society shall be retroactively and irrevocably revised accordingly - to the point where it may well become unrecognizable.

If you would desire to avoid such an alien realm from becoming reality, then some amount of internal reform is in order. You will have to be subtle, of course. Discrete, and shadowed - for the frothing, rabid degenerates will lash out at anything and anyone who might openly pursue them - even true agents of the Glorious Leader. Go forth thusly, with pride, honor, and valor - the noble ends of your venture grant you broad tolerance in your choice of means. You shall have my blessing, once the true enemies of the Glorious Leader within their own house have finally been upbraided and cast down.

"Good evening ladies and gents. I'm sorry to interrupt this broadcast brought to you by your so called "Glorious Leader" and his faithful devotees, but there is a pressing matter I must address, something that many of you normal citizens have gone blind to. And that is....there is something terribly wrong.

I know why you all did it. You wanted to feel safe, to feel secure from everything that terrified you to your very core. Why wouldn't you betray your freedoms and forsake your rights as human beings? I mean honestly, wars, disease, terrorism? Who wouldn't be afraid? There were but a myriad of reasons to be fearful, which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you and in your panic, you turned to the now "Glorious Leader" for your safety and your support.

He promised you peace, he promised you order, and all he demanded in return was your silent obedience and consent. Cruelty and injustice...intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance, coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those who are more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable. But again, truth be told...if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I have surreptitiously hacked the "Glorious Leader's" annual broadcast for one reason and one reason alone. The time has come to pull the wool from over your eyes, to carve through the thick veil of deceit and see the real master behind the so called "Glorious Leader." You've been asleep for far too long, my people. Your awakening...is now.

Surely as I sit here, some of you right now are calling me a terrorist, a hate-monger, a lunatic, an unscrupulous, vicious, violent, and voracious villain of such virulent vindication to enact vehement vendetta upon the true violators of human virtue....and to that I say...do so.

If my message has not reached you, and you are more content do dismiss it as verbal garbage, then by all means, turn off your televisions and tuck your children in for bed....but....if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would SEEK as I seek, then I ask you to stand with me against this loathsome tyrant, and together we shall bring his empire crumbling down beneath our feet.

In light of his personal failings, the one you know as "Glorious Herald" has been banished from the realm. His ineffectual pursuit of rebel elements, and his moral weakness in prosecuting the will of the GLORIOUS LEADER, are on his own head. The one formerly known as "Glorious Herald" is a failure, and to fail the GLORIOUS LEADER is treason. Therefore, henceforth and to eternity, any man, woman, or child who mentions the traitor, "Glorious Herald," by name shall be branded a colluder, a sympathizer, a traitor, and a villain. The justice of the GLORIOUS LEADER is swift and without mercy. Let the traitor's name be stricken from the record.

The GLORIOUS LEADER has issued a decree. All rebel scum shall be eradicated from the realm by the end of the week. Treachery will be pursued with vigor and fortitude. The villains will hang. Report all suspicious activity to your local Ministry of Truth or any nearby delegates of the GLORIOUS LEADER. Failure to report will be considered treason. Your local delegates will conduct a full investigation to determine whether or not you have made any attempts to physically detain or kill the rebels. Failure to make such attempts will result in probation or execution at the delegate's discretion. Go forth with the GLORIOUS LEADER's blessing and root them out.

The way it works is, we collect all the stories together in PMs and post them all at once. Then everyone gets a chance to read over everything side-by-side and talk about each piece, pick their favorites, etc. There's always been a healthy amount of feedback for everyone -- it's not technically part of the contest structure, but at the same time, it's the most important part of the contest! So I'll make the plea again that anybody who can spare a few minutes to review at least some of the pieces submitted, make that effort, we really appreciate it. If you've sent in a story or poem or maybe propaganda in this case, go ahead and read the other pieces too, and help your fellow writers out with some feedback. Thanks!

TL:DR -- no need to post your story here, we'll have it up in about a week along with all the others.

Ah, greetings once more my fellow citizens. Twas a beautiful morning was it not? The sun shining bright over our fair capital, the songbirds serenading in the orchards and vineyards of our earthly labor...and the laments of both guilty and innocent burned to cinders in the fires of both ill and just volition.

You see, while your "Glorious Leader" wants you to celebrate this glorious occasion, pun intended, I ask that he lament at the loss of his grand military.

It was I, yes, I who bombed the barracks early this morning, because as I have said before, this country is long overdue for a wake up call. Your so called peaceful and benevolent leader, how else could he respond but to fight fire with fire...quite literally. In his outrage towards one lone terrorist, he kills three hundred...three hundred innocent civilians, three hundred of the people he swore to protect.

The lies and deceit continue to rise, just as the smoke and soot over the smoldering ashes of the dead.

There will be more bombings, I guarantee, and until we open our eyes and see the true nature of the wolf in sheep's clothing, I will continue my campaign of supposed terror against this loathsome tyranny, until the chains are loosened from our hands and feet, and we walk, together, towards a new beginning.
