All he really remembers is waking up with no memory in a hospital, then the hospital going up in a large gas explosion soon afterwards. He had memories for a grand total of 5 seconds so obviously when the option appeared he accepted without hesitation. Level 2 Class: Vessel(of the Dunk Lord) Attributes: Focus Gift: Eri's Gift is the Basketball of the Fallen Dunk Lord. It allows him to summon the Fallen Dunk Lord, the only Dunk Lord remaining after the Overlord's purge. The Dunk Lord has lost much of his power making him merely a Dunk Adept. Since it was proven that his Dunks were not absolute but he still retained the will to live after his defeat, he was able to reincarnate into a weaker form if his Basketball were to be picked up by a vessel. It also imposes on him another weakness, if his vessel were to die, then he will not be able to manifest, and he will be trapped inside his own Basketball until another vessel picks it up. I have dunked over a thousand fools, Unknown to free throws, nor known to lay-ups. Have withstood penalties to own many courts, Yet those hands will never throw anything. So, as I pray… UNLIMITED DUNK WORKS! -Ancient Dunk Lord proverb Character Concept: Guardian Dunk Lord Title(name for Dunk Lords): Fallen Dunk Lord Gender: Dunk Lord THE LEGEND OF THE DUNK LORDS: The Dunk Lords were born in times long past. So long that none remember them, save for the Dunk Lords themselves. They looked like normal humans except much stronger, faster, and they were functionally immortal. They each had a special possession, each Dunk Lord was said to hold a basketball which would never leave their hands until the time of their deaths, in a grand ritual known as the Space Jam. Two Dunk Lords battle head to head on the basketball court of the Dunk Overlords to claim superiority over the other Dunk Lord. The Dunk Lords used to only die in the Space Jam, as the Space Jam is the ultimate test of a Dunk Lord's dunking skill. Each Dunk Lord is meant to be the ultimate Dunker, if they ever come to a realization that they will never be the supreme, their existence loses meaning and they fade from reality. It rarely ever happened as the limits of the Dunk Lords had never been felt. None of the Dunk Lords felt that they would never be able to surpass another Dunk Lord and so the Space Jam continued for all eternity, until one day the Dunk Overlord appeared. He was far greater than any other Dunk Lord before him, each step shook the Space Jam, each dunk turned the hoop into dust. Now they could feel their limits, and the Dunk Lords defeated by him began to disappear. Many came to challenge him but none succeeded, and soon enough even Dunk Lords who did not challenge him began to disappear as they realized there could be no one that could match him. At last, there was only one last challenger. But unlike the rest, there was no doubt in his heart that the Dunk Overlord could be defeated. Even as the Dunk Overlord scored point after point, the final Dunk Lord did not give up hope. The siren rang out, signalling his defeat, and even then he held onto his hope. A part of him felt the despair that reached the rest of his people, but his heart refused to surrender. Regardless, he knew that he would die anyway, and he tossed away his Basketball to signal the end of his life. But his heart lived on inside the Basketball, and the one to receive it would be able to resurrect him, and begin a legend anew. Level: Dunk Class: Dunk Adept Race: Dunk Lord Attribute: Force Martial Arts: Dunk Arts - The Dunk Arts are the fighting style of the Dunk Lords. It uses the movements of both the Basketball and themselves in order to confuse and overwhelm enemy defences, then uses raw power to deliver a devastating finisher. A Dunk Lord's techniques do not scale with level as their level will always be Dunk. But instead it scales with their class, the lowest being a Dunk Trainee, and the highest being a Dunk Lord. A Dunk Trainee is only fit to battle on a basketball court, and only the Dunk Lords are permitted to take part in a Space Jam. There are however, no more Dunk Trainees or Dunk Lords. Now there is only a Dunk Overlord and the Fallen Dunk Lord. Adept Dunk: The most basic ability of the Dunk Lords at Adept Level. The Dunker leaps into the air and slams down their Basketball with explosive impact. To achieve the title of Dunk Trainee, you must at least be able to break the basketball ring and still deliver the dunk to the ground. At Adept level you must be able to break it 5 times over. It is unknown at what level the Dunk Overlord's dunk is, but it would at least be more than 1 million times over, as that is the level of a Dunk Lord. Adept Dribble: The dribble is a symbolically important technique. It represents the Dunk Lord being free from the restrictions of logic, and their journey to rise into the air to become a part of the Space Jam. It is said that the Basketball never leaves the Dunkmaster, but it clearly does so during the dribble. The dribble in fact shows that the statement is more philosophical than literal. The ball leaves the Dunk Lord's hands but it will always return, so in away the Ball will never leave their hands even if they are thrown. They will never be separated from the ball until despair claims their lives and they cease to be. At an Adept level the Dribble cannot be stopped by any kind of terrain and can even be carried out on top of lava. Its intense footwork can confuse foes as they cannot tell where the ball will be. However, that function becomes pointless against a smart enemy, as they will realized all the Dunk Lord will do is dunk. Right of the Fallen Dunk Lord: Each Dunk Lord has a unique ability over other Dunk Lords. Otherwise the Space Jam would purely be a contest of skill and the Dunk Lord who simply trains the most would win. An interesting thing to note is that the ball of the Dunk Lords will teleport back to their hands if the ball leaves the court. Some Dunk Lords have variations on this, some had their ball fly back to their hands creating many stylish turnarounds in the Space Jam. The Fallen Dunk Lord has the same sort of ability, but he could also move himself to the Basketball. Combined with Dunk Lord level dribbling techniques, not even the greatest of the Dunk Lords could defeat him easily. However, the Dunk Overlord easily saw through all of his techniques in their battle and cast them down as if they were nothing. If he seeks another battle with the Dunk Overlord, he will have to find something else to defeat him. Unlike his other abilities this one stays at full effectiveness as it was since his days as a Dunk Trainee. Equipment: Basketball of the Fallen Dunk Lord
