Julius slept that night, somehow. It felt like he was split apart on the inside, like a wound that wouldn't close was constantly bleeding within him. But somehow he slept, a dreamless uneasy sleep that left him wondering if he had slept at all when he woke up the next morning. His mind was still lingering on what he had experienced while being gone, but... He couldn't quite remember. He remembered the endless void, the blackness of death and the emptiness it brought with it. But what had it actually been like to be dead? He couldn't explain it if someone were to ask him. It was just... Indescribable darkness. The morning wasn't much better, with Julius eating what breakfast he could find before heading off to school. He hadn't bothered to make a new schedule for the week, but thought he'd make it up as he went. He hadn't said much to his roommates either. He had left before most of them had woken up enough to actually talk to him. He wanted answers. Why and how had he been brought back? The others had told him that James had prayed to some God and a blinding light had erupted from his body, bringing Julius back to life. He couldn't help but feel mystified, but suddenly he felt empowered as well. Whatever God James had prayed to had granted him a great honor in restoring his life. For some reason, the God(s) had saw fit to bring Julius back. What great purpose did he still have upon this world? What fate awaited him so important that the gods themselves gave him a second chance? Julius wasn't the religious type, but after this event he started to grow quite an interest in the lore and religion of the pantheons and Gods. He planned to ask James later about whatever he had done, and what God had granted him this strange power. However Julius didn't think about or realize that this was a feat accomplished by James unlike any other. So young a boy had brought a soul back to the world of the living from the realm of the dead - and no necromancy was involved! He brought up his pamphlet and started deciding what classes to go to. Unknowingly, he picked some of the same classes as his friend Auron...
