[@Otaku95] I own all the FMA manga and I love what they did with Brotherhood! The first anime was ehhhh, but Brotherhood is probably the best of the three (while it's the same as the manga, I feel like the end was TOO much for the manga to handle. was a little all over the place and animation was just a better medium for the story). But ye, I get you. Blue Exorcist (and Akame ga Kill and Soul Eater and Tokyo Ghoul) also has an issue where it branches off from the original and just goes to shit. 

However, with RWBY, I feel like we're starting with something that has a lot of potential...But it just doesn't live up to it. The story telling, characterization...There are so many problems with RWBY and I feel like the manga has a good chance to fix them. And as much as I love RWBY, I'm very prone to being picky about what's good or bad it. And most things I like. I just enjoy fanon more than canon with RWBY and I don't think that's ever gonna change for me.
