Argus was also irritated by the lack of meat. During his childhood, his elven mother had been a vegetarian which meant that meat was a very rare treat for him. Once he became an adult, he practically went full carnivore. He preferred the meat of large farm animals, be it cow, goat, sheep, pig or even horse. The dragon-man (Argus knew there was a proper term but could not recall it) seemed prickly but he had just said something very interesting. Not the complaint about the lack of meat, but the mention of escape. Argus walked over to the table where the dracon (that was the word!) was sitting with his tray and sat down. "I'm sure we would all like to but I have the courage to act. Do you have a plan by any chance?" Argus also took care not to say escape or any synonym of it near the golems after watching others do so.
