Since the dawn of time people have fathomed of having abilities beyond those of regular mortals and idealized those who did such as the mythological Greek gods. Gifts such as the ability to fly, wield strength greater then other men, and other such talents that allow you to control the world around you are things many of us which to have. However what if some of us actually did have those abilities? 

The basic premise of this RP would be based off NBC's show Heroes but no knowledge of the actual show would be needed to join. Those in the roleplay would be able to play either those with superhuman powers or regular humans. This setting offers plenty different roles for the various characters you create including politicians, those in law enforcement, perhaps some criminals involved in organized crime, or even scientists. The setting would be just like the show set in the real world with the added addition of people with superhuman powers. 

The actual plot would be set two years after the original show. My idea is basically the world has been dealing with the fact that people with powers are real. There's a growing fear of people with powers, and several violent incidents involving people with powers have led to strict regulations being set by the World Government to crack down on people with powers. So now we'd RP in a world where the Government is retaliating against people with powers, and how they deal with the world turning against them.
