I know it's mainstream and I know it's pop, but honestly? I've been really digging the shit out of Selena Gomez lately. I think it's cause I'm going to be using her as a faceclaim for a rp, but meh.

@Altered Tundra 4/10, the beat is okay, it's a little too poppy for me. Her voice never sounded that unique to me either, if you played it to me then I'd probably say it was some other singer.

@Heat The instrumentals are pretty good. The vocals around the same, but the song, lyrically, isn't all that grand. Still, everything makes it a decent listen. I probably won't go listen to it constantly, but I wouldn't turn it off if it came on a radio station. 6.7/10

@Altered Tundra 6/10. The low rating is mostly my aversion to the genre. It didn't seem particularly inventive, but it's well put together and overall quite solid.

@Snagglepuss89 Violins! Among other things that make this piece amazing. Slow start that left me unsure of how things would unfold. The strings were a little too soft and his voice seemed to struggle a bit but then again I don't know much about singing so maybe it's just my untrained ear. It picks up however at about a quarter of the way in and then things start to get interesting when he becomes a f*cking magician and start blending different elements of his music with beatboxing, very strong vocal skills annnnd finally full on pizzicato!

Yes yes.

9.9/10 Only because he can sing and then sometimes suddenly he can't.

@ExitHah, I wish my musical taste was wider than it is. That said, I'm trying to rate more objectively than "Oh, I liked it". I'd give it a 7/10. Primarily because it's an example of that genre that I wouldn't beg someone to turn off the radio for. I didn't dislike it.

Interesting pick. The beat is catchy and if nothing else, it was the one thing that held my attention throughout the entire song. It's got some silly lyrics that are fun but not quite enough to make me "lol" though I felt a giggle in my gut a few times, especially there at the end. I'd give it a 7/10 mostly because repeating the same line over and over is a pet peeve of mine and I feel as though songs with playful lyrics are supposed to make me laugh (out loud). Beat is great. Acting is good. Dancing... kind of amazing. Horse is bae.
