[B]History:[/B]  Nero has spent much of his free time gaming since he was young.  Of course, he was still a student and a citizen first, he was never one to shy away from using his free time for himself.  He played anything with the tag RPG on it – be it with guns, swords, or magic.  Like most SAO players, he was highly invested and excited for the new game; his history with MMOs was to play them until he reached a formidable, albeit far from mastered, point on a character or two before moving on to the next.  He just liked seeing the different worlds that each one offered.  When the news broke that SAO was supposedly going to have unlimited skills and an unfathomably large map as well as what was being called “Full-Dive” technology…  Well, he just had to get it.  The only person who followed him through each of his many, many games was his wife.  She was going to try it out next and they would just wait for the NerveGear to hit shelves again before playing together.  Of course, she hasn’t really had a turn to play yet…

[B]History:[/B] Yari was born a child of two to a pair of fairly well-off parents.  Her father was from a small mountain town called Ichigawa and, at the time, had every intention of returning home to raise his family.  However, he was offered what he basically considered his dream-job straight out of college.  When Yari was born, they only visited Ichigawa to see family.  She was a studious, bookish girl but it was hard for most to dislike her.  Even from a young age, she showed a nurturing personality to everybody – juniors, seniors, peers…  Everybody received her almost hennish mothering, even if they didn’t need it.  Luckily, she learned to control herself to a certain point and thus made an effort to not be downright annoying with it.

[B]History:[/B]  Kimiko was born to a family of relatively low status in Tokyo.  When she and her brothers, a pair of twins younger than she was, were still fairly small, they lost their father.  The household’s matriarch was hardly the woman she once was.  Thankfully, when Kimi was nearly ten, their aunt came to live with them out of worry for the effect of their mother’s inevitable breakdowns.  Even still, their aunt was more of a financial support than anything – she wasn’t so good at being a mom, so Kimi was almost forced into making sure her brothers had lunch for school and dressed themselves properly every day.  Made sure they boarded the proper train or whatever it was they needed.  She hated every minute of it.  When one of her friends from school invited her over to try out Sword Art Online, Kimi was more than happy to take just one evening…  Just one to herself.  She deserved a chance to have a life to herself if for only one night.  It was going to be fun – they’d take turns on the brand new, shiny NerveGear.  The friend had been a beta tester, so she offered the first turn to her classmate, Kimi.  Little did she know, that helmet wouldn’t come off after it went on.  In SAO, the last thing she has to worry about it taking care of anybody but herself.  In honesty, she didn’t take long to adapt to the life that revolved solely around her.  But in the back of her mind, she knows that she has to get back to her “real life.”
