The only thing that could possibly be a disadvantage to them would be that theyre not at full strength at all times, which is just trying to work at the same issue I placed on vampires having to hunt for blood & their early limit on getting hungry & losing their strength as well. 
I'm not a big fan of almighty creatures, like some vampires & werewolves can be portrayed as, and they all have a good share of weakness. 
If you were to really compare it, vampires have a lower hand considering their nocturnal behaviors & when they do consume live blood theyre weakened by drunken appetite. Theyre just a little bit harder to kill. I even gave werewolves two turns a cycle instead of one.

I don't know, am I not seeing something?
