Die Koninkryk Vander Vaal is a Constitutional Monarchy, with the Sovereign bearing the mantle of head of state, in theory the sovereign should have very little power other then their reserve powers, however in practice they hold large sway in domestic and foreign affairs. The Kingdom has two Houses of Parliament, The Reichstag and and The Bundesrat, The Upper and Lower House respectively. The Reichstag (Upper House) does not hold as much power as the the lower house, however it has two things that it's counterpart does not; it can amend the constitution and has direct channels with the king, giving it large political powers, The Reichstag consists of the lords and ladies of The Kingdom. The Reichsrat (Lower House) consists of appointed members of parliament from every constituency, with the number of MPs per constituency depending on population; the role of the Reichsrat is to debate and pass laws, to pass other legislation and to represent the people in general. The Sovereign is the legal head of state and as per the constitution only allowed their reserve powers, the power to ratify laws or reject them, the power to assemble or devolve parliament, the power to knight and pardon and the power to give or retract land to lords and ladies; however in practice, due to The Sovereign's station, they are able to influence the public and the ways political parties behave. The typical Vaalor male stands at around 1.9m tall and his body is enmeshed in slightly browned skin, males begin to physically mature around the ages of 12-14, they begin to grow body hair and muscle mass and start to become taller, this period however is accompanied by chronic dermal issues, awkward voice cracking and heightened mood swings/sexual desire, this tends to last until the ages of 17-19, when most males' hormone levels begin to stabilize. Males have dense, sturdy bone structures, with straight hips and broad shoulders, often with formidable muscles stretched over them, Males have a higher metabolism then females and require more food to sustain themselves, they also die earlier at around 79. 

Female Vaalors stand at 1.6 meters tall on average and just like their male counterparts, their exteriors consist of smooth (hairy in the mens' case) skin, Females begin to physically mature at the same age as males and likewise begin to go through the period of body hair growth (to a much lesser extent) and awkward puberty period until 16-17, as they mature faster then males. Females tend to have lighter, less dense bones then Males making them in the whole more agile; they have wider hips then males, in order to give birth easier and breasts, to suckle the infants. Females have a lower metabolism then males, meaning they die later, at around 86, however the prolonged life span is mostly due to men doing the harder work that takes a tole on life span.

Vaalors tend to have lightly tanned skin, with the men having darker skin due to them spending more time outside because of the nature of their work. Hair color ranges, however it tends to follow the trend of dark and light browns, with black and blonde not commonly seen and auburn somewhere in-between. Eye color is almost constantly brown and hazel, with the uncommon acceptation of grey. Women often grow their hair long, to the small of their back or to just under their bottoms, whereas males tend to keep it short and maintain most of their body hair, females also maintain body hair but to a vastly lesser extent, avoiding the very hairy arms and legs that men so often have in favor of peach fuzz.

The home world is mostly a warm, semi-arid planet, consisting of mostly savannah and to a lesser extent old growth forests. The planet is mostly bare of fresh surface water, with most of the water residing deep underground in large aquifers, what water there is on the surface is mostly salty and forms the oceans that make up 35-40 percent of the parent's surface. The coastal regions tend to follow Mediterranean climate patterns, with hot, dry summers and mild-cool winters (often dominated by humid weather and light rains). The vast majority of the land locked continent is savannah, consisting of dry brush/grass with thorny trees dotted around everywhere, there are very little "true deserts" on Vaalgebied because the water table is high enough to give the soil some moisture.
