Sabre##
Rank Second Lieutenant Name Henry M. King Appearance King has soft features, giving him an approachable, almost child-like face. His eyes are wide (making him look perpetually surprised) and pale green. His teeth are in great condition, giving him a charismatic smile. He’s quite thin, with an athletic (not muscular by any sense of the word) build. 5’ 11”. He has a head of short, but messy, dark brown hair with a unique collick in the front, making his hair incredibly hard to do anything with. Hence the messiness. Age 24 Sex Male; Heterosexual Specializations General Infantry (Rifleman) skills, Battlefield Medic Augmentations Mechanical right leg (starts just above the knee) no special gadgetry, Mechanical left arm(the hand of said arm can fold away to reveal an emergency medical kit with surgical implements.) Artificial right eye that can “zoom” as well as make him aware of the physical condition of his squadmates. Sabre Deployment Suit Deployment suit is a fairly standard neutral, with a changeable color visor. On board computer systems inform him on how to perform more complex medical techniques as well as supplement his admittedly mediocre aim. A gauntlet on the right arm of the suit houses a self-sterilizing blade that can be used for medical or offensive purposes. Two grappling hooks with long cords and retraction features in each arm. Hooks can be used for mobility, disarming enemies, or offense (Whipping enemies with it (ala Just Cause 2), or just hooking enemies and pulling them off of perches or throwing them around.) Mask has a “total filter” filtering all toxins, gases, or smoke. This has guided his whole life and led to his joining the military. King makes friends easily and deeply, possibly a result of his great sense of humor.King is empathetic and caring, great traits for a medic, not great traits for a combatant. While Henry tries to put his emotions aside while fighting, killing is still hard for him. King is an idealist, believing that there will always be a good outcome. Despite what he’s seen in his few years in the war, he’s retained this trait. Some find it endearing, others think him to be naive. History Henry Mitchel King was born on a city-satellite orbiting Mars called Serpentis. He did not stay there very often, as both of his parents were shipboard doctors for hire on various merchant ships, and they took him with them wherever they went. Henry spent most of his childhood acting as a nurse for his parents, picking up the skills and intelligence required to be as skilled a medic as he. When the war began to take a turn for the worse, his parents were drafted aboard a Military vessel. Henry, being 15 now, was able to sign up for a non-combatant role as an assistant medical technician. He proved his worth aboard the ship, working closely with his parents the whole time. One night, two days after Henry’s 17th birthday, the Rebels attacked the ship he and his parents were serving aboard. Henry was tasked with locking himself in the infirmary with the wounded not capable of fighting. The Rebels killed more than half of the ship’s personnel, including his parents, before a nearby friendly ship provided aid. Henry served as a shipboard medic for the remainder of the year, joining the military the hour he turned 18. He served as a combat medic, being promoted often due to the often fatal nature of the job.
